We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Tessa from The Doula Force. She has been our night doula since September 2025, and I honestly don’t know where our family would be without her. When she started with us, we had a newborn and a toddler, and now our children are 6 months old and 2 years old. Having Tessa 5-6 nights a week through all of this has been an absolute gift. She is calm, knowledgeable, compassionate, and unbelievably dependable. The peace of mind she brings into our home each night is priceless, and knowing our baby is in such capable and loving hands allows us to truly rest. Tessa has become so much more than a night doula to us — she truly feels like family. She cares for our kids with so much attentiveness and kindness, and she consistently goes above and beyond in ways that never go unnoticed. We have also worked very briefly with two of the other doulas (Chvana and Kaylah) from The Doula Force, and they were wonderful as well. It’s clear the entire team is fantastic. But Tessa has been with us consistently and the longest. If you are considering a night doula, we cannot recommend Tessa and The Doula Force highly enough. She is truly one of a kind, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had her supporting our family during this special (and exhausting!) season of life. We are so so blessed to have her in our life.

If you are looking for a doula this is the one! I’ve worked with other agencies in the past and I’m telling you this is the best care we have received. All the sisters give the same care so either doula you are with you don’t have to worry. I personally worked with Kaylah and Tessa.

Tessa and her sisters are truly angels. They are the most genuine, nurturing, helpful people who took the best care of me and my newborn son. We’ve previously worked with other night nurses and our best experiences were with The Doula Force. Tessa was with right when we got home from the hospital and helped us figure out a routine, choose the best swaddle (and taught me her swaddle method), meal prepped, folded laundry, cleaned bottles and pump parts, and took the best care of our son. You won’t regret working with her and the rest of the team!

We had the wonderful experience of working with Chvana! Being first time parents we knew we would need the services of a post partum doula to help us navigate our new roles. Chvana definitely helped with that! It was immediately evident that Chvana was very knowledgeable. She answered any questions and addressed any concerns we had, and was willing to step in and help when needed. She also provided us with invaluable resources and her guidance was paramount. But most importantly, Chvana’s passion and love for babies was so clear in how she interacted with our daughter. She loved her as if she were her own. Shortly after the birth of our daughter I experienced some unforeseen complications and had to go back to the hospital. As difficult as this experience was, Chvana supported us through it and we had peace of mind knowing our little girl was in great hands! Tessa is an absolutely amazing Night Nanny. She cared for my third child from the day we brought him home from the hospital until he was three months old, and thanks to her, he became a great night sleeper. Beyond just caring for him, Tessa went above and beyond. When he caught his first cold, she held him through the night, comforting him when he had trouble breathing through congestion. She not only provided exceptional care for my baby but also helped lighten my load around the house. While he was sleeping, she would fold laundry, do the dishes, organize drawers, and even wrap presents during the holidays. Her kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile made such a difference for our family. Anyone who has the chance to have Tessa as their Night Nanny is incredibly lucky. I could not recommend having a doula, Kandra specifically, more! This was my second child. I did not have a “traumatic” first experience for my first birth 3 years ago (without a doula) but it definitely was not a great experience and I felt like there were some “normalized” interventions that were used that I most likely didn’t need and made the labor/delivery/recovery more painful. I asked around and was recommend Kandra by some friends who said she was amazing, and I could not agree more! She was available for any questions during the months leading up to the due date, and gave me great labor prep recommendations to prepare myself for the delivery. Once labor started, she was there every step of the way. She was the best advocate to make sure my birth plan was followed and explained any changes that might arise without pressuring me one way or another, but also offered her opinion when I wanted it. My first delivery I pushed for 3 hours and was exhausted, but this time around with her preparation/guidance, I pushed for maybe 10 minutes! She also worked great with my OB. 10/10 recommend.!
