So thankful for Jill and her expertise. I highly recommend her as someone who problem solves. She’s also a joy to be around which is a plus! Thank you, Jill!
- kassi Gibbons
We saw a few different lactation consultants before we finally met Jill, and she was far superior in knowledge and resources than the others! She’s passionate, generous, deeply knowledgeable and attentive and was able to diagnose our baby with a more rare posterior tongue tie, that our other IBCLC’s had missed. Her resources and expertise absolutely saved us in our breastfeeding journey. We cannot recommend her enough!!!
- Lindsey Beck
Jill is AMAZING! She literally saved my nursing journey! My baby had a tongue tie revision that wasn’t done correctly before meeting with Jill. We tried and tried to get baby to nurse and stay alert but after almost no weight gain Jill recommended it to be revised again along with a lip tie. I went to a pediatric dentist she trusted and it was 100/10 compared to our first revision! Jill was so patient with us and showed compassion and understanding with how hard the journey had been. My baby is THRIVING thanks to Jill working so hard for us! We are 9 months into exclusively nursing! I will always recommend her to every mom ❤️
- Haylee Vane
I used Jill with my first baby, and will with all babies to come. I have told every single person I can about her in how incredible she is. I swear she should be on Oprah’s Top 10 best things to do for yourself! Highly recommend her! I can’t say enough good things even 2 years later my experience still breast feeding my baby.
- Sydney Osmun
Jill made breastfeeding possible for us. My baby was not latching and screamed at the breast. In just two appointments, she helped us go from never latching to exclusively nursing. She gave us practical tools for where we were at, and the progress built on itself until we reached the stress-free breastfeeding experience I dreamed of. Her belief that we could make progress made it possible. I am now confidently breastfeeding, and I truly couldn’t have done it without her. We were also grateful she was willing to travel to see us and offered lactation consulting in-home. Highly recommend.
- Darrian Wright
Jill has been incredible! She gave me practical strategies that improved my milk supply and explained everything in a way that made breastfeeding feel less overwhelming. Her patience, compassion, and quick responses gave me the confidence I needed. I honestly cannot imagine not hiring her. Just hire her, breastfeeding isn’t easy, as there are so many things to learn and know. Jill makes the process so much more manageable and positive while supporting your every unique need during your bf journey! Thanks Jill!
- Lisa Swift
Jill is incredible! In one session she restored my confidence in breastfeeding and more. She is very present, patient, knowledgeable, and helpful about all things breastfeeding and upset babies. I was really impressed by her preparation prior to the visit and attention to detail. She also went above and beyond with helping us getting extra support for our baby’s physical needs. We have sought lactation support elsewhere in SLC, but Jill’s experience is by far the best we’ve experienced. Couldn’t recommend her more!!
- Rachel Henderson
Life changing. Jill's heart and mind are all in. Only regret is not receiving her help sooner. Could not recommend more.
- Tor Syvrud
Jill was a LIFESAVER and is truly making a difference as a kind and knowledgeable lactation consultant. She was so professional, pleasant and worked hard to help our little baby girl learn how to latch! She also helped me feel much more assured in my own abilities—by weighing before and after feeding we could tell how well our daughter was transferring milk and they examined her for tongue ties and other issues. In the end she was just very tense so Jill recommended some exercises and therapies to strengthen and relax her little muscles. The level of education and care Jill and her intern provided was priceless. I’m happy to report that my baby nurses like a champ and Jill was such a worthwhile investment and key part of our breastfeeding journey. Forever grateful for her kindness and support!
- Kelsey Sandoval
Would give Jill 10 stars if I could!! She is so so helpful. I’m a first time mom and had so many questions of what is “normal” and what is going on in this breastfeeding journey! Jill takes her time and is so very patient. She has so much experience and is very professional yet personable and relaxed! She taught my husband and I so much! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!!
- Megan Bearden
Jill is a life saver! Being a first-time mom I had no clue what I was doing as far as breastfeeding! Jill came to my house 2 weeks prior for a consultation and was very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and was so helpful! She came back 4 days postpartum and I couldn’t be more thankful! The breastfeeding journey is hard. I had such bad engorgement when my milk came in, and was in so much pain. She made an effort to do therapy on me. She has been so helpful with latching and education. So thankful for her and I would literally not recommend her more!
- Kjerstn LaFontaine
My baby boy was born four weeks early and we really struggled at first. I LOVED having Jill come and help me out. She taught me things that I didn’t know I even needed to know. She was super helpful and made a huge difference in my breastfeeding journey. I cannot recommend her and Candace enough!
- Madison Lutz
Jill was my hero at our consultation! I was skeptic about what more an at home lactation consult visit would do for me and my son after receiving some tips in the hospital and googling, but Jill taught me so much that no one on google or at the hospital could. We went over the best latch technique, some body and mouth work for my baby, and the best ways and tools to pump and take care of my breasts. Her one visit gave me so much confidence and knowledge, I’m so excited to meet with her again to learn more and advance in my breastfeeding journey with my son!
- Cambria Smith
Jill is so knowledgeable! She shares her expertise with such grace and gentleness which is so important during the vulnerable time of learning to breastfeed. Her coming to my home for a consultation was the BEST thing I did for myself postpartum. The confidence she gave me moving forward in my breastfeeding journey is priceless.
- Madison Hafen
Jill is an absolute gift to the lactation profession! She has a special talent of connecting with her clients and educating in such a kind way. She is also a baby whisperer - she was so good with my baby and I learned so much about him thanks to her pointing out body language cues. When people asked how I was doing post partum, I would say, “Well I’ve found that my happiness is largely centered around how breastfeeding is going, soooo it’s a bit of a rollercoaster.” ;) Jill’s help made ALL the difference for me. It’s so cool to see someone who’s an expert in their field in action. I consider myself lucky that I called Jill to receive support - she’s the best of the best!
- Jennifer Garrard
I recommend Jill to everyone I know with new babies. When I had my twins in February, I had many nurses in the hospital recommending a lactation specialist who I ended up scheduling an appointment with. My twins were latching just fine but still not gaining weight appropriately. The first lactation specialist recommended to me didn’t have reason to believe I needed much help and left me with more confusion than I started with. I then called Jill who was recommended to me by a good friend and she was SO quick to get back to me and schedule an appointment asap. Over the next 6 months she worked almost weekly with me to address my concerns. At our first appointment she recognized serious lip and tongue ties that were both restricting my babies feeds which were causing them to work extra hard and tire quickly. She was encouraging, informative and helpful in every way I needed in my breastfeeding journey and I don’t believe I would have gotten to where we are today without her. After 6 months of working to get their weights up and to feel comfortable nursing both my babies independently, we have finally hit the goals I had set and I am so grateful to Jill for helping us through this journey and for the love and kindness she showed me and my babies. Whenever I had Jill in my home I never felt like just another client, I knew she cared about my journey and my babies well beings. We will always have a special place in our hearts for Jill!
- Brandon and Kayla Mecham
We loved having Jill come to our house. Jill is personable and easy to work with. Jill has a ton of knowledge and years of experience. Jill is very thorough and helps you get to the root of the problem. Jill also shares many helpful tips and tricks along the way.

Jill is just simply the best. She came highly recommended from a friend. I had been struggling with nipple pain for 3 months and no one could tell me why. She came into my home and helped me within one session! She was very professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend her to every single breastfeeding mom I know! She continues to be so helpful to me when I text her questions throughout my breastfeeding journey. Like I said, she’s simply the best!!!
- Eme Settlemyre
I had Jill over multiple times, and she helped me with nursing through hands-on techniques, along with sharing her knowledge. I love that she was covered by insurance and that she traveled to me -- game changer with a newborn! This is my 3rd baby and I wish I would have gotten a lactation specialist with my other 2. I learned so much! I have recommended Jill to other friends struggling with nursing and will definitely be using her again myself in the future.
- Savannah Rickords
Jill is AMAZING!! She has so much knowledge and helped me and my baby with breastfeeding so much! She was so kind and empathetic towards me with navigating motherhood and nursing. She was so sweet with our baby girl 🥹. And she helped me to feel so much better about breastfeeding. Now our girl is breastfeeding so well! I cannot recommend Jill enough. Well worth the money!
- Rachel Landrith
There are so many wonderful things I could say about Jill, The Lactivist Activist. It is so apparent that she truly cares about each of the mothers and babies she works with. Every second spent with her was valuable to my breastfeeding journey. I learned a ton from her. But what I want to shout her out for the most is literally saving my breastfeeding journey. No one else would even listen to me, but Jill made me feel truly heard. She assessed our baby girl and discovered her oral ties. So important to have someone tie savvy and Jill is definitely tie savvy. After our release procedure things have improved greatly. & Jill has supported us through it every step of the way. There just really, truly, isn’t a better IBCLC around. She is worth every penny if you are on the fence JUST BOOK WITH HER!
- Karisha Allred
Jill was heaven sent and I couldn’t have been more thankful for her. She came straight to our home which was absolutely amazing while I was recovering from labor. She was so knowledgeable and thoroughly helped me better understand how to breastfeed my sweet baby boy. I felt much more confident even just after the first appointment. It was so reassuring that at our next appointment baby boy was gaining weight and doing well. I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much Jill, we appreciate you so much! -The Lunts
- Britt Adcox
10/10, incredible, personalized care. Jill is not your average lactation consultant. She goes way above and beyond on every level. I wish I had done an appointment with her before baby came, not just after. Every second she was with me was so valuable.
- Cam M
What can be said about Jill that hasn’t already been said? She is AMAZING. This isn’t just a job for her. You can tell she is so passionate about helping moms and babies. I have seen 5+ IBCLCs and Jill is above and beyond the most knowledgeable. She also is very kind and easy to be around. I’m going on 6 months of exclusively breastfeeding, and that is mostly thanks to Jill.
- Samantha K
Jill is AMAZING. She was helpful the second I scheduled my appointment. She was kind, shared loads of information, and was so reassuring. She loves to help moms and her enthusiasm about her passion shows. I wish I would have met with her sooner.
- Tyler Thompson
We weren’t able to meet with Jill so we met with her colleague/assistant. We’ve been struggling with low supply and issues with latching and feeding. We basically were just handed a list of supplements to take which we already knew about from google. She mostly just watched us try to feed and didn’t offer many tips to help us. We really felt this was $200 dollars down the drain but still we are willing to try anything. If you are on level 0 of breastfeeding knowledge this would help. But as a husband who’s done a little googling and got instruction in the hospital this offered no new insights. She also basically told my wife she might be out of luck with breastfeeding since our daughter we is 10 days old and still low supply which really discouraged my wife, we haven’t given up yet though. I left there pretty frustrated. Edit: Jill contacted us and came to our house and helped my wife tremendously. My wife said she was amazing. Thanks for helping us and listening. Would recommend.

JILL PROVIDES EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE AND KNOWLEDGE. I called Jill on a Saturday afternoon, because my 2 day old was not breastfeeding properly and I was getting super stressed out and needed help ASAP. She answered the phone immediately, and was available within a couple hours for a same day appointment, on a SATURDAY! I couldn't believe it. She arrived, and spent 2 hours helping us get our baby to breastfeed correctly, checking out her pallet and any possible issues in her mouth that could affect breastfeeding, showing us how to latch her properly, tongue exercises to practice with baby, and how to use the breast pump properly with the right sized flanges and inserts. She was simply incredible. Super friendly, a wealth of knowledge, she was worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. My baby has been eating so well ever since I got the hang of it and Jill has been available via text for any questions that came up since my appt last weekend. She doesn't spare any info either, she is thorough in her responses to you, and helps you find more details on the portal she gives you access to with tons of documents on everything you could possibly need to know about breastfeeding your baby! I would highly recommend, no INSIST you hire Jill! She will change your breastfeeding journey for the better, and you and your baby will be so grateful. The kind of service she provides is above and beyond. She truly cares about her clients and babies. She is such a gentle soul. Jill I cannot thank you enough and so glad my midwife referred me over to you.
- Cynthia Garrett
Jill is so incredible. My midwife recommended her, and I am so glad she did. A few days after I had my baby, I was in a lot of nursing pain. My baby needed a tongue tie revision, and after he got that, he was super sore and wouldn’t nurse well if at all for a week. He was losing weight and it was so hard. Jill helped us realize this and got us on a plan quick to get his weight back up. It wasn’t easy with his soreness and refusing to nurse. But having Jill by my side helping me figure out how to not lose my milk and also get my baby to keep trying to nurse was a game changer, and saved me! She came over several times and worked through the struggles with me. She was always available and texted me back 24/7. Her support alone helped me get through the hard week! She is so knowledgeable and so supportive. We were able to figure out my nursing struggles and pain together and quite quick! I would 100% recommend her to any mom and baby wanting to have a beautiful and successful breastfeeding experience. She is amazing! She has all the knowledge and tips and tricks in her bag. Literally! She brings all the things, and can help with anything. She is the Mary Poppins of breastfeeding. She is great company, too. :)
- Megan Harris
Jill is an expert at what she does and a wealth of information and help! I was impressed by all the things she knew about that related to my unique situation. She came highly recommended by everyone who I talked to who knew of her, and after meeting with her it is clear to me why. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a lactation consultant.
- Tamara Schellenberg
Jill was so sweet and supportive. My breastfeeding experience has not been what I thought it would be, and I wish I had found Jill sooner. My baby did not latch and on the first visit, with Jill’s help, we were able to get him to latch! Even though, this didn’t necessarily mean he would just start breastfeeding again, Jill has been patient and informative. She has shared developmental toys with us that are so fun to play with. Jill has educated on us helpful mouth exercise that I would recommend incorporating even if you do not have a tongue tied baby. She shared movement exercises with us that are appropriate for helping our baby grow and release tension. I love Jill and highly recommend her to any postpartum mother. She was so helpful through the tongue tie release process and has been a joy to work with.
- Jaecee Grant
Jill is absolutely incredible!! I used Jill as a second-time mom breastfeeding, and I only wish I had her support and expertise my first time around as well! Jill helped me have an incredible breastfeeding relationship with my son, and we were lucky enough to help him go seamlessly from breast to bottle, which will help immensely as I prepare to go back to work. Not to mention, Jill has over 20+ years experience working in labor & delivery, so was helping me on my recovery from a third degree tear, helped offer advice on how to care for our son's circumcision, etc. Jill is also really communicative and extremely dedicated to her clients. I had a compressed duct, and Jill rearranged her schedule to come that day to help with treatment. I cannot speak more highly of Jill!!
- Lauren Sercu
Jill is the best in the business! She is so knowledgeable and helpful with breastfeeding, pumping, milk supply, etc. She made me feel so much more comfortable with nursing my baby girl and that she is getting what she needs. I will use her for all of my babies.
- savannah nord
Hiring Jill to come work with my baby and I in our home was the best decision I have ever made. I can't say enough good about her and the experience. I was home with my first baby feeling totally defeated with breastfeeding. I would have given up if it wasn't for Jill. She came and checked for lip and tongue tie and other issues that might be affecting the babies latch. She helped with techniques and education to help me feel empowered and confident. My baby loves when Nurse Jill comes over. It's been a world of difference. No more latch issues! Baby is breastfeeding so well and gaining weight. Also I was in serious pain due to bad latching in the beginning and she helped with that as well. She is a wizard as far as I am concerned. If you are struggling at all don't hesitate to hire Jill I am telling you it will be the best thing you can do for yourself and your baby. She makes it a comfortable experience also..no need to feel awkward at all ! I was uneducated with breastfeeding, when to pump, pacifiers, nipple confusion, and so much more. Jill has provided me with lots of educational material and in home help and without it I would have been doing myself and a my baby a huge disservice.
- Jill Edman
Absolutely worth it. She provided all the support and so much more that I didn't know I needed. Thank you so much, Jill!!! 💜💜💜💜💜
- Alyssa Hubbert
Jill was absolutely wonderful. I had seen multiple different lactation consultants and received lots of conflicting information. Jill came, helped me correct my latch, resolved my extreme pain, and helped me get back on track with the baby’s weight gain. She is extremely knowledgeable and has years of experience. Go with her!
- Jessica Strong
What you get with Jill is so above and beyond! She helped my first medically fragile baby become a nurser, but even with my second healthy baby, she eased my mind and set us on a path to success. Breastfeeding is an important, consuming job, and with Jill you will get a full oral evaluation and whole body review of baby's reflexes. She gently hands-on guides an entire feeding session and measures the baby's intake to make sure they got enough. She gave me supplies to address my cracked nipples but even more importantly explained why it was happening and how it was going to resolve. She demonstrated several strategies for how to improve my latch and sent detailed follow up notes as a reminder. I didn't even have to ask many questions because she so compassionately anticipated everything my tired mama brain would need to know and just led me through the process. I will remember and use everything she taught me but even more so just feel seen and supported by her. Jill is worth her weight in gold!

Jill is an incredible lactation consultant. I’m currently 4.5 months postpartum and have been able to fully breastfeed my son thanks to her advice and support. I got a rocky start with breastfeeding. I experienced a lack of support in the hospital and a very stressful delivery. I also had a breast reduction 20 years ago and at the time had no idea that could affect my ability to breastfeed. Luckily I had met with Jill before my delivery. She measured me for flange size and gave me the run down on what to expect. I had all of the supplies ahead of time and rented a hospital grade pump. Still my milk took nearly two weeks to come in and during that time I was sure I was doomed. But I was determined to give it my all, so I started meeting with Jill on a weekly basis from three days postpartum. Every week she gave me essential advice and we brainstormed things I could try to help stimulate my milk supply. As a former nurse, she has a strong medical background but also is very familiar with natural remedies. I also loved that she came to my house so I never had to stress about our appointments. During that time I was supplementing with some donor milk and eventually with her support, I was able to get my supply up to where I’m now able to provide my son everything he needs to thrive. I’m so grateful that I picked Jill to be my lactation consultant. I don’t think I’d be where I am today without her. In addition to the breastfeeding help, she provided a lot of mental support for me when I was feeling defeated and she really inspired me to stick things out. The only thing I’d do differently is have her come to the hospital the day he was born. I was so tired I opted not to, but in hindsight it would have helped me in those early hours when I was overwhelmed and didn’t really know what to do. I highly recommend Jill. She’s truly amazing and if I ever had another baby, I would work with her again.
- Kristen Bor (Bearfoot Theory)
I loved having Jill’s help on my breastfeeding journey with my fifth child. I firmly believe that if I would have gone to Jill sooner, that with her help, I would have been able to exclusively breastfeed my baby. She was able to diagnose a lip and tongue tie that had gone unnoticed by pediatricians and dentists. She helped me get my milk supply back up when no one else had a clue or even cared. She understood and was sympathetic to how important it was to me to breastfeed. She gives practical advice that is easy to follow. If you question anything at all on your breastfeeding journey have the consult with her! And if it’s price that’s shying you away you’d be surprised how many insurances will cover lactation consults. Jill checked for me before our first consult and it was covered by insurance. Call her sooner than later!
- Samantha Terry
Jill is nothing short of a miracle worker. My baby wouldn’t be healthy and thriving if it weren’t for her. Jill is the most valuable person in our care team and all of her recommendations are golden. We would be lost without her!
- Megan Foy
Jill is absolutely incredible! She took time with me and went above and beyond to help me feel confident with breastfeeding. She was so kind and understanding and answered all my questions. I highly recommend her!!
- Annie JoHannah Brinkerhoff
Jill is AMAZING!! I had her come to my house to help with my fussy baby at the breast and she gave so many helpful tips and found my sons tongue tie. I’ve recommended her to my friends and family and plan to use her in the future with all my babies!
- Madison Dexter
01/22/23 I wrote the below review almost four years ago. I vowed when I had another baby, I would call on Jill right away. Prior to my scheduled c-section, I made an appointment for when my little one would be five days old. However, three days in to my breast feeding journey, I was in so much pain each time my baby latched, I wasn’t sure I would make it through the weekend. When I texted Jill late on a Friday night, she responded right away and scheduled me for the very next morning—Saturday no less! That appointment was a game changer. She helped me to effectively latch my baby and we have never looked back. Six months later, breastfeeding is going just as I had pictured it to go with my first. I am so grateful for Jill’s gentle, supportive approach as a lactation consultant. I could not have done this without her. Spring 2019 "Coulda, woulda, shoulda! After working with two other lactation consultants, I found Jill. I truly wish I had worked with her from the beginning. Her 20+ year career as a labor and delivery nurse, makes her an expert on all things baby. Not only did she troubleshoot my breast feeding challenges (my little guy had a hard time latching because of a lip tie and posterior tongue tie), she also had recommendations on great baby products to help with torticollis. And she really listened to me when I shared some of my "ah-has" as a first-time mom to share with other moms (i.e. sleeping help). Jill is a hands-on, caring professional. And while my little guy hasn't ever latched effectively, she has gone out of her way to put me in touch with other moms who have had an extra supply, helping him to have the best nourishment possible. If I have another baby, I'll be calling her the minute my little one is born. I've already recommended her to countless moms and will continue to do so."
- Amber Hunter
Jill is great! She is very personable, knowledgeable, and helps reach your goals. She takes a holistic approach and has helped us tremendously.
- Tanner Polley
Jill is knowledgeable, compassionate, and confident. She is also very responsive and even took a call late on a Saturday night when I was desperate and in pain. I can’t recommend her enough!!
- Lauren Cleaver
Jill is amazing. She has helped me so much with breastfeeding my newborn twins. I was intimidated at the idea of nursing two babies, but Jill has been by my side to help with each individual baby. She also helped us decide to revise their tongue ties, and went above and beyond to help with the babies after their procedure. I’ve appreciated that she never rushes - she has spent many hours helping me, often exceeding the allotted time just to ensure I get the help I need. She’s so knowledgeable about breastfeeding and all things baby - she’s taught me a lot! I highly recommend her!
- Kaitie Wilson
Jill is absolutely fantastic. She makes you feel like a priority. She has such a vast knowledge and was able to answer all of my questions. She helped me get the help I needed for my baby and I to be successful nursing. It’s obvious that she really cares about each and every person she helps. I would recommend her to anyone who needs help with breast-feeding or diagnosing tongue or lip ties.
- Elinor Bryant
I love Jill. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be able to breast-feed. She has helped me in more ways than I can count. I highly recommend her for a new mothers. She's super fun cheerful super relatable, very honest, and a joy to be around!! We love her!
- Tenley Johnson
Jill is absolutely amazing! If you’re needing help or think you need help in your breastfeeding journey, Jill is your girl!! I love that she came to my home and worked with me and my baby where we are most comfortable. She is so sweet, friendly, and so knowledgeable. My baby and I had troubles breastfeeding from day 1. I really wanted to make breastfeeding work but after 3 months of trying and working with other lactation consultants I was about to give up. At this point I was mostly pumping and feeding my baby bottles but still wanted to make nursing work. The first meeting with Jill was amazing, she could tell my baby had a tongue and lip tie (something the doctors hardly even checked for) and after getting that resolved she helped me retrain my baby to breastfeed properly and not rely only on the bottle. She cares so much about you and your goals. One day I had a clogged duct and very sore breast and she came over that day to help me with it! She is amazing. 10/10 recommend! We love Jill and wouldn’t be nursing without her help.
- Savannah Larson
I was unhopeful after a mediocre experience with the LCs in the hospital but decided to call Jill anyway. She absolutely exceeded my expectations. Her strategies and expertise were spot on. It took work and effort on my part, but Jill lead the way to help me have success nursing my baby. Jill is patient and personable. She has a gift for helping both baby and mama; you will not regret calling her!
- Keri Deschenes
Jill is amazing at what she does! There’s no worse feeling than struggling to feed your baby, and Jill does an amazing job at empowering and helping you achieve your breastfeeding goals. I’m a 1st time mom & did not know what to expect with breastfeeding, but she created a safe and uplifting environment for me and my baby boy! We love Jill!
- aspen lambert
I have a lot of good to say about Jill. As a person Jill is very caring and fun to be around! As a lactation consultant she is professional and reachable, and current with research on breast feeding (with mastitis most people will tell you to apply heat after feeding but you actually want to put a cold compress on your breast to decrease inflammation). She’s great at working with cultural differences and different health philosophies (TCM is a big thing in my household) Ive received a lot of help ranging from Lymphatic massage, ultrasound therapy, teachings on securing a better latch, a handful of exercises (almost games to play) that have helped my two month old to use his tongue more effectively, and bottle feeding tips and supplies to reduce frustration at the breast and nipple confusion. I’ve had my own unique set of challenges with breastfeeding (and emergencies #abscess) but Jill has been there every step of the way to make sure I get the help and support I need! She was recommended to me by a friend who had seen a few other lactation consultants before finally meeting and getting the help she needed from Jill. I recommend her as well, only wish I had reached out for help sooner!
- Bethany Yang
Jill was a lifesaver. Being a new mom and figuring out breastfeeding is all so overwhelming and I can’t even tell you how much her consultation helped me tackle all those feelings of overwhelm. She was so kind, empathetic, attentive, and helpful with every aspect. Not only did she spend time in my home helping me but she also provided me with lots of resources to review afterwards. She knows her stuff! Everything she taught me has made the world of a difference. I went from wanting to just give up on breastfeeding to feeling confident and capable because of the tools she gave me. Even the week after our consultation I texted her questions and she would respond quickly with an above and beyond answer - which I appreciated soo much! Meeting with her was worth every penny. It has seriously made the world of a difference in my breastfeeding journey.
- Hailey Krey
Jill puts her heart and soul into what she does. She is very knowledgeable and deeply caring. She knew what my baby needed and what I needed. I am so grateful for her home visits--she even came on a Saturday night. You will not regret working with Jill.
- Karen Bryner
Jill is amazing. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and so great with my baby. She is kind, warm and instantly makes you feel like a friend. She truly enjoys her work and wants to see everyone succeed. I had previously met with another lactation specialist and it is night and day difference. I can’t say enough good things about her. Choose her as your lactation specialist- you won’t regret it!
- Whitney O'Neal Mutaguchi
My experience with was amazing anyone having issues with breastfeeding should book a session! She was professional and timely as well! I had to supplement formula at the hospital due to baby’s bilirubin count. And not having enough wet/dirty diapers. I had fed well his first 24 hours. After the bottle he refused to latch. And I was not taking it well as this was something that has been very important for me. After my class this was my experience Haven't used a bottle since before her class. A full 24 hours. Last night went amazing fed and still pumped I now have 20oz in my freezer and a full baby. The transition to the breast is so easy at night everyone got so much more sleep. I fed him at the dinner table and even got him to latch and feed without a break in his latch while standing and doing something before going to sit. I feel like she saved my mental health so much by helping me enjoy this part of being a mom. I can't thank her enough.
- cassie norwick
Jill is the most awesome down to earth woman! I’m so glad that we had her help at the beginning of our breastfeeding journey! We’ve now successfully been breastfeeding for just over 2 months and I’m so so happy! She was available to answer any questions I had here and there after our consultations too. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else to help you with your breastfeeding needs!

I had such a good experience with Jill. She was so sweet and patient and I am now feeling much better about breastfeeding. She went above and beyond to answer my questions and spent extra time with me in my home. YOU NEED HER IN YOUR LIFE!

Jill has been the only reason my BF journey has been possible. It's been such a long road and we're still working on it. My son and I have been mostly exclusively breastfeeding finally for a few days, he's now 6.5 weeks old. We started off with a NICU stay where he was being fed through a tube, to being bottle fed, to having a tongue and lip tie revision. I think most people would have given up and I know I certainly had moments. Jill was encouraging and helped me keep faith to keep going and while it's still hard I know I'll have good moments to look back onto. Jill is kind and caring and handles the babies with such tender care. She'll put you both at ease and is always quick to respond.

Jill has literally been a lifesaver when it’s come to nursing my babies! When I had my second baby, nursing was so painful. At 7 weeks old I was ready to throw in the towel and go to formula because the pain was so miserable with nursing. I called Jill, and she changed everything! She came to my home, weighed my baby, checked her mouth throughly and diagnosed my baby with both a tongue and lip tie. She also showed me what she meant by that. She showed me how my baby couldn’t latch appropriately due to the restrictions in her lip and tongue. It all made since. That’s why I was hurting so bad, my baby couldn’t latch the way she was supposed to. We scheduled the appointment to have the ties released, and Jill came with us to be of help. Right after the ties were released she helped me nurse my baby and taught me tricks I could use to make sure my baby was latching better. Within days I was starting to feel a difference, I was healing and nursing wasn’t as painful! Jill knows what she’s doing. She is amazing at what she does. She makes you feel comfortable and offers amazing support and encouragement throughout the whole process. It’s not just a “one time” visit either. She is there when you need her. I can’t say enough good things about Jill. She’s someone you want in your corner, especially if you’re having difficulty with breastfeeding. So if you’re on the fence, just book the appointment! You won’t regret it. I promise!

Jill was very kind and gentle with my baby. She did an extensive evaluation and helped me with the issues I was having! She helped me with proper pumping equipment. Did an evaluation of her latch. Showed how to latch better and breast feeding positions. Taught me how to feed with a bottle and better options to use. Showed me how to incorporate tummy time and other exercises. When she saw there could be some possible tongue tie issues she referred me to a proper provider for further evaluation. I highly suggest her!

I would 100% recommend working with Jill! She helped me feel confident and hopeful with my breastfeeding journey. I had no idea what to do as a first time mom. I had a hard time with helping my baby latch, managing my milk when it came in/ engorgement and more. She was responsive to my needs and gave me a wide range of tools/education to better help myself in my breastfeeding journey. She is amazing, and I I don’t know what I would have done without her help the first few weeks PP.

If you desperately want to nurse Jill will help you do everything you can to make it happen. She's not pushy but is your cheerleader. She knows her stuff and caught a lip tie that 3 pediatricians missed, I was getting destroyed. I exclusively pumped for a year with my first and was so sad I didn't get to nurse. I thought i had a good plan for my second but was already bleeding in the hospital. I had someone refer me to Jill and after only 30min into the session we had figured out what was happening. We got in touch with a pediatric dentist that very day and made an appointment. She let me text her with every question I had after. She really wants you to be happy so what ever that ends up being. Pumping, using a shield or even quitting if you can't do it anymore. I desperately wanted to nurse and it happened! It was hard and took a lot of commitment and determination BUT after 6 hard weeks of mostly having to pump my baby was healed enough from his tongue tie release and we started exclusively breastfeeding. I look down at him feeding and can't believe its actually happening. It was worth every penny I can say with confidence I tried everything I could to nurse. if it wouldn't have worked I would have been very sad but I would have known I had tried everything I could before letting it go. Im so incredibly glad i didn't have to though. THANK YOU JILL!

Jill was an answer to my desperate prayers as a clueless first-time mom! Through her depth of understanding and kind reassurance, we got to a much better place in our breastfeeding journey. If you feel like there’s no hope, don’t give up, just call Jill!

Jill was an actual DREAM! She is so comfortable and inviting. I am so happy that she was recommended to me. I gained so much knowledge that helped me feel confident in my ability to feed my baby properly, and gave me piece of mind that she is getting enough. I would recommend her to anyone!
- Bailee Wiggins
Jill was so wonderful to work with! After a less-than-excellent experience with the LC at the hospital, I really needed help figuring out what I was doing and she was so supportive of what worked best for me and my baby, and so knowledgeable about some of the limitations I was working with. She also helped diagnose my daughter’s tongue tie and point me toward a pediatric dentist who could help. Not to mention, her coming to my house was a lifesaver with a new baby. I’d recommend her to anyone!
- Jenna Smith
Jill was so thorough and kind and helped eased this stressed mamas mind.breastfeeding my first was so hard and frustrating, I didn’t want to go through the same problems with my second. Jill was so incredibly helpful and gave me pointers and recommendations that have worked!!! 2 months in and doing SO much better this time around.
- Bridgette Armitstead
Jill is absolutely amazing!! I had two negative experiences nursing my older two children and had almost decided to not try with my newest baby (now 11 weeks old). I had a lot of anxiety, so I reached out to Jill for her help. Jill came to our home and was so patient and gave me so many valuable tips to help my baby nurse on both breasts (he would cry everytime I tried to feed in on one side). Her tips helped baby to be comfortable and now he nurses on both sides without being upset. Also, Jill have me the confidence that I needed to continue nursing. We were able to verify how much milk baby was getting; which seemed impossible that he could drink that quickly and get enough, but he was! If you're having any troubles with breastfeeding, Jill is your gal! You will be happy that you reached out to her for help!

My 3 month old daughter was struggling so much. She was losing weight and everyone I had talked to dismissed her oral ties as nothing. My milk supply dropped very low due to her ties, and I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to breastfeed my baby but it didn’t seem possible. I found out about Jill and booked an appointment with her. She was amazing! She was even able to accept my BCBS insurance. She helped us get in with a pediatric dentist so fast who released her ties. Then she worked with me and my daughter on breastfeeding and supplementation while I got my supply back up. Now my daughter is 4.5 months old and thriving! She is exclusively breastfed and gaining weight beautifully. She is a happy and healthy baby! I will never be able to thank Jill enough for saving my breastfeeding relationship with my daughter!
- Camille Green
Jill was amazing. She went the extra mile with me and my second baby, in adjusting his latch and helping him get more breastmilk, and in turn, helping me boost my supply! She was very positive and she does more than just breastfeeding help... she provided ideas for tummy time, activity time, how to relieve uncomfortable gas, and helped with different positions. I would recommend her to anyone I know who has a new baby--whether it's their first, second or beyond!
- April Singh
Jill was so supportive of me while I was trying to breastfeed my baby. She helped get us into a pediatric dentist FAST for help with a tongue and lip tie. She came to our home (which we loved. So nice to not have to travel with a newborn!) and spent lots of time with us. And, most importantly, when we decided to stop with breastfeeding and transition to formula, she was a heaven send. She was so supportive and really helped me navigate those tough emotions. She consistently assured me that i was s good mom and helped validate my choice. I was surprised by how supportive she was, because I assumed lactation consultants would just push breastfeeding hard. She is not like this. She supports moms through all sorts of choices.
- Ashley Larsen Gibby
Jill is AMAZING!! I was having a lot of trouble breastfeeding my newborn. She came over and walked me through how to properly feed him. She answered all of my questions and our consultation didn't feel rushed at all. I woke up the next day feeling less stressed and more confident! Not even 24 hrs later and our experience feeding is a way more positive one!
- Megan Suppes
Jill is amazing! I highly recommend her services. We had an early intervention at just days old; we are six weeks strong and thriving, now! Jill's genuinely and thoroughly informative, positive, supportive, and encouraging!
- Monique
Jills consultation was so valuable to us, I would recommend an appointment with her to any and every breastfeeding mom! She is an incredibly knowledgeable lactation consultant. Having her come to our home and help us to breastfeed better gave us a boost of confidence that we desperately needed as first time parents. She was also available for text questions for a time after the appointment, which was amazing, and I was able to ask her all of my lingering questions.
- Stephanie Halversen
Jill is amazing! She is so knowledgeable about tongue ties and has lots of resources to help retrain your baby's sucking issues. Plus she is just so fun to be with! I am so grateful I was referred to her!
- Cherylyn Carpenter
I've seen 5 different lactation consultants and Jill was definitely the most helpful! She came over to my house the same evening I contacted her and provided in-home support for several hours. She gave me helpful tips on breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, and infant care, and left me with a very clear game plan and some resources. Nursing ultimately did not work out for me and my baby, but her tips helped me improve my pumping game—I went from having an under supply to a slight over supply within 4 weeks, and she helped me adjust my pumping schedule to something more manageable long-term. My breastfeeding journey doesn't look the way I envisioned it, but without her support I probably would've given up entirely and just gone to formula. She came highly recommended and I can see why! Even though I'm now an exclusively pumping mom, I found our visit very useful and I'd definitely recommend her too!
- Ashley Bosley
I cannot sing Jill’s praises enough. She helped me when I thought I was helpless. She came to my house and spent 2.5 hours with me and helped with far more then breastfeeding. I cannot recommend her enough!
- Stevie Merica
Jill helped me ease into breastfeeding and made me feel so much more confident in myself! She fit us in and came the same day I called and answered any questions and concerns I had for the next two weeks!! I’m so glad I found Jill at such a hard time and she was able to help me feel much better and more calm about the newborn nursing journey. I cannot recommend her enough!!!!
- Emma Wertner
Several people in the valley referred her and there is a reason for that. She came when needed even at short notice, late at night, and on Sundays. She is always there when you need her. She's got lots of tricks in her bag and is helpful to both mom and baby.
- Kl Wetzel
Jill is amazing. She is extremely specialized in the science of lactation. She is the best you can find. She has helped my wife go from zero to hero in the world of breastfeeding. My wife was struggling with breastfeeding and didn’t know where to turn to. We called the best lactation place in Utah and they referred us to Jill for areas south of SLC. Jill came in with her ninja breastfeeding skills and helped my wife gain confidence and the skills needed to breastfeed.
- Phelipe Silva
I recommend Jill enthusiastically and without reservation! She is not only incredibly skilled as a lactation consultant, but she is such a kind person to have in your life when you are dealing with the challenges of adjusting to your new little one - or in my case, little ones. Despite having mastitus 5x with my first baby, I felt pressured to breastfeed when I had premature twins. But when I developed clogged ducts a week into it, I knew I had to stop. It was a real challenge though, because my body was in full production mode. Jill patiently worked with me over a month to slowly taper off breastfeeding, and I was able to do that without ever getting mastitus. She was also such a tremendous support, helping me process all the disappointment and doubts around not being able to breastfeed my girls. She is fantastic!!
- Sunaina Schultz
Jill was fantastic! She helped identify my son’s tongue and lip tie when so many other providers including his pediatrician, failed to do so. She she got us connected with all the right professionals to help fix our issues. She is very skilled at what she does, and is such a joy to work with. If you are considering a consultation with her, do it! It was the best decision I could have made
- Courtney T
I’d sit and cry for the first week after having my second baby. I wanted to breastfeed but didn’t know what I was doing. I had never done it before and it didn’t come naturally for me at first. I messaged Jill on a Saturday evening, as a last resort before giving up. She came out Sunday morning and gave me the tools and confidence I needed to be successful. It may seem silly, but to me, it was an absolute Godsend. She is VERY knowledgeable. She’s a registered nurse with MANY years experience and she gave my baby and I the best shot at making it work. She gave me the support I so desperately needed. I cannot thank you enough or recommend her more. If you need help, you need to have Jill help you!
- Hannah Lemon
Jill was such an amazing resource and positive support in my postpartum breastfeeding haze! I scheduled a phone/FaceTime consultation and it was perfect. She was able to assess baby feeding very easily over video chat, and I ended our session feeling great and well supported. A few days after our consultation I developed mastitis, I reached out to her via text, and she was able to provide me with tips and tricks to help me quickly resolve my infection. Thank you Jill!
- Sara Pittman
Jill is amazing! My son was born in August and was losing significant weight. She helped us get in to Dr. Richter’s pediatric dentistry office for a check up to see if he had a severe lip and tongue tie. Which he did. Not only did she teach me many things about breastfeeding but she was a guiding hand in finding out why my son couldn’t eat successfully. I will be forever grateful! I highly recommend!
- Mariah Leany
Breastfeeding my first baby was ROUGH for the first several weeks. Jill was the third lactation consultant I saw. She came right to our house for two hours and helped us, which was amazing! She pointed out a suspected tongue tie, referred us to top notch professionals (a physical therapist and pediatric dentist who does TT releases), gave us strengthening exercises to do with baby, gave me things to help with my super sore nipples, and supported me SO MUCH through phone calls and over text as my husband and I decided how to navigate her tongue tie situation, not before and after the release! Not to mention I have a patient portal with her that has tons of great documents and information on so many other BF topics! She will definitely be the first person I go to for any future concerns. ❤️

Jill was a life saver and I feel like finding her was a miracle. I was so close to giving up on breastfeeding because I was so discouraged and felt like I was doing everything wrong. But she came and helped me build my confidence and showed me that my baby girl needed some extra help with her suck and that it wasn't that I was doing anything wrong. I loved working with her. She is easy to talk to and explains every thing she is doing or teaching. She left me feeling confident and capable. I highly recommend her!
- Brealynn ZoBell
Jill is the best there is at what she does, no question. Every nurse or “lactation specialist” in the hospital was no help at all for me. Breastfeeding was not easy at first but I was so adamant about figuring it out and Jill was there for me in person and via text any time I needed her. She was able to answer any question I had and gave me such great information and content to read/watch. She always made me feel comfortable and cheered me on during the good and bad days. I love her love of watching moms succeed at breastfeeding, but ultimately she will support anything you choose with your baby :) I would recommend her to any mom any day.
- Andi Debenham
I’m a first time mom and Jill helped me deal with engorgment when my milk came in. She helped identify my sons lip and tongue ties and helped me find a pediatric dentist to resolve those toes. She hasn’t just helped me figure out breastfeeding, she has given me confidence in being a mother and that I am the best mom for my baby❤️
- Camden Johnson
I had a rough experience with breastfeeding for my first child. With my second, I knew I wanted things to go differently. Jill was recommended to me through my midwife. I contacted Jill and she came to see us at my home when my baby was only 3 days old. She recommended providers to see to resolve his lip and tongue ties. She was very thorough. When she left I felt like I had so many tools and knowledge for breastfeeding. My son is now 3 months old and nurses like a champ. He barely ever gets a bottle! I believe it was all due to Jill helping us out in the beginning. I highly recommend her!!
- Danielle Butler
Jill helped me with a terrible cracked nipple situation when my baby started teething. Very grateful for her help and support to continue my breastfeeding journey!

Jill is absolutely amazing! Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable but she’s so caring. Our visit was so much more than just fixing breastfeeding. She helped identify a lip tie and a tongue tie for which she explained the treatment and recovery. And then she instructed us in some tummy time and other awake time activities. I can’t say enough to how great she is! We would totally recommend her to everyone breastfeeding a newborn.

Jill saved my breastfeeding journey! I was not prepared for breastfeeding because I had assumed it would just happen naturally but my baby injured me in the first feed and I was so overwhelmed and in pain I almost gave up. I knew I needed an IBCLC if I wanted to feed my baby, formula was a last resort, even in my overwhelmed state of mind, I wanted to breastfeed so bad! After feeling extremely overwhelmed (I gave birth at a birth center, so not quite the same support of a hospital) I did a quick search online and found Jill. She was able to come by that evening (baby was born at 6am, called Jill at 4pm, she came over at 6pm). I was so impressed at her willingness to come at a moment’s noticed. I learned SO MUCH from her in that first visit. She was so informative and so caring. I literally felt a massive weight lifted off my shoulders and I gained knowledge and confidence that I could do it! I am so thankful to Jill for making my breastfeeding journey possible. Even now a few months later, As I feed my baby, I tear up remembering what a difference she made for me.

Jill Lancaster is nothing short of amazing. I struggled with breastfeeding so much, and was desperate for help, then a friend suggested Jill and I jumped at the chance to call her. I was in incredible pain due to plugged ducts and was having a hard time (we're taking bruised and bloody) gettingmgetting baby to latch on the right side. Jill came to MY house, made sure I was comfortable, gave WONDERFUL suggestions on both how to nurse and products to use to help alleviate pain, and was available to talk very soon after receiving a message from me, even at very early hours of the morning (which I felt bad for doing, but was desperate), but I contacted her so much that we joked about how she was officially part of the family. Even my husband has said that Jill was worth every penny and more; I cannot say enough good things. If you are looking for the best of the best, Jill is better than that. I HIGHLY recommend her!
- Mindee Pulley
Jill saved my breastfeeding experience! She diagnosed my baby’s lip tie (my baby was not gaining weight and breastfeeding was so painful), sent me to an amazing dentist to fix it, and set us up for major success after months of really difficult feedings. I would not have made it to my 12 month goal if it wasn’t for her! I tell every expectant mother that this is hands down the best money you could ever spend after having a baby!
- Haylee England
Jill was a lifesaver in helping me know all the in’s and out’s of breastfeeding my newborn. She took the time to thoroughly answer all of my (and my husband’s) questions during the home visit, and it was so nice to have the ability to text her for a few weeks afterwards as well as additional questions arose. She provided countless additional informational resources for us to review after the home visit too, which was amazing. All in all, I feel 1,000% more confident breastfeeding now, and have Jill to thank!
- Ashley T
Jill is super experienced, extremely thorough, and very professional. She took time with me, a first time mom, and my newborn to help us improve breastfeeding. She assessed for lip and tongue ties and taught us what we could do to improve it and recommended next steps. She provided us a superbill for reimbursement from our insurance. She knows what she’s doing!! Money and time well spent with Jill. Even if breastfeeding is going well, she can help you make it even better and has great feedback and experience.
- Elsie Powley
Jill taught me so much that I didn’t know! She is awesome with babies. She cares about you and your little one and goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable. Loved having her come to my home!
- Andrea Loertscher
I have absolutely loved my experiences working with Jill. I used her for both of my babies, and I 100% contribute my ability to breastfeed them to her help. She was able to come to the hospital and help while I was still there which was huge, because both times my babies lost so much weight in the hospital that they almost won’t let me take them home. She has also come to my home to help when I was still struggle to get a good latch. She is very knowledgeable and will help you achieve your personal goals instead of pushing a specific agenda. I will be using her services with my future babies.
