Hello everyone my Name is Sandra and i am an RN for Labor and Delivery, Birth and Postpartum Doula, i provide many Services for Moms and Infants, from Birth planning, active Labor support, Placenta encap., Postpartum Care, Overnight Infant care etc...please feel free to browse my Joyful Journeys FB page for reviews.(travel Services also available)!!!!
I'd give Sandra 10 stars if I could for all of her services. She has served myself and my family in many capacities: as my doula - pre and post partum, as a night nurse for all three of our babies, including our premature twin boys who came home after spending the first 3 months of their lives in the NICU. She has taken excellent care of us all. Providing meals and postpartum healing care. She was exceptional in preparing my mind body and soul for my VBAC with my third pregnancy. I couldn't have had a more beautiful and successful VBAC experience without her care and guidance. I cannot recommend her enough for all things pre and postpartum care, her doula and birth experience, and for postpartum and even overnight care for babies.

I became a Mother in the Summer of 2014. If I'm being honest, I didn't put much thought into my first birth. I thought I'd just go into the hospital pregnant and come out with a baby. It wasn't until I was in labor and facing an emergency cesarean that I realized that my partner and I were unprepared and unsupported. It was after that first birth that I learned what a Doula was and the trajectory of my entire life shifted. I trained as a Birth Doula in 2016 and since that time I have attended over 160 births in hospitals, birth centers and in homes. In 2021 I have also been a local homebirth assistant since 2021 with my Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification. Over the years my views and beliefs surrounding birth have grown and evolved. I have studied not only the mechanics of the birth process, but the physiological, emotional and spiritual rite of passage that birth truly is. I believe that a beautiful birth experience can happen in any setting, but that it takes a combination of preparation, advocacy and a setting that supports your vision.

I just want to say how Cieara was such an amazing Doula. Cieara came in my life right on time when I had hopes of having a doula for my labor and delivery. She gave me insight on resources and information and sent daily affirmations. Along with assisting me through those strong painful contractions with comforting measures. And even stayed the night with me during my labor what seemed like for hours. I also had a drop in my milk supply and she offered to make lactation cookies that were not only delicious but increased my supply from 2 ounces back to 3-4ounces. Thank you Cieara

Hello! I offer birth and postpartum doula services within one hour of Danville, Indiana. I serve mothers in hospital, birth center, and homebirth settings. I believe that women should own their birth experience, be seen and heard, and have compassionate evidence based care from their providers. I strive to provide a judgement free space, encouragement, physical, mental, and spiritual support while providing evidence based information and resources so that each woman is able to make informed decisions. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula through CPI and VBAC certified through the VBAClink. I am currently working on certifications in aromatherapy, lactation, placental preservation, and bereavement. I have taken a paternal perinatal mental health training and will be completing trainings for perinatal mental health (PMH-C) later this year.
I would highly recommend Kira if you are in search of a doula. I wasn't real sure about having a doula at first I didn't really know what there role was and I wasn't sure I was the type to want an outside person in that intimate space with me. My husband and I could not say enough about all that Kira did for us and we couldn't imagine the birth without her. She was a calming presence and helpful guide to my husband and she was a friend and encouragement to me. She prayed with us and for us during pregnancy, she came early and labored with me because we were new to this and wanted the reassurance, she stayed after and made sure we were fed and taken care of, she helped us even after birth when we didn't know what to do when we had a scare with our newborn. Kira quickly became more than a doula but a friend. She exceeded our expectations. Her servant heart and calm, loving presence was such a blessing to us. Kira will always have a special place in our hearts and we look forward to hiring her again in the future!

Hey mamas! I’m Sheena, Owner of Courage To Birth. I am a birth and postpartum doula. I am located near Anderson IN, and support clients near madison, hamilton, and marion county. After the birth of my son in 2020, I felt being a doula was my calling. I have been a doula for just shy of two years. I am certified through H.E.R.B.A.L & recently became certified for placenta encapsulation as well. I believe birth is a natural physiological process. My goal is to help all my clients achieve a birth that leaves them feeling empowered, supported & confident. The families I support get prenatal birth coaching, pregnancy & labor support, and in home postpartum support. I look forward to meeting you!
Sheena was so helpful to my family postpartum! I could not thank her enough for helping my wife and newborn. She allowed my wife to sleep in, offered advice and information for us new parents, took amazing care of our sweet son, and helped with laundry and cleaning. We miss her!

My name is Rachel Klein - the owner and founder of Doula Moon and Back. Birth doulas have been around since the beginning of time, providing counsel and coaching through pregnancy, labor, birth, and the fourth trimester. My commitment is to helping birthing people to feel more confident and positive through their journey of parenthood, by using evidence-based information, comfort techniques, and knowledge drawn from a love of learning. My care as a doula is meant to be an open and non-judgmental environment for families of all types and backgrounds.
5 stars doesn’t seem to be enough for the rating I’d give Rachel. She was with me throughout my pregnancy and so supportive. She took time to really get to know me and my plan for birth. When it came time to go to the birth center she was there the entire time and was caring, nurturing, supportive and cheering me on. When I had to make decisions she was there to provide me with knowledge and help me make the decisions that she knew I wanted. When I was feeling discouraged or upset or anything she was there as my light and positivity to bring me back to center and keep pushing on! She made sure I stayed hydrated, fed, rested & loved during every step. Although this was my longest, most difficult labor, Rachel kept my vision alive, and assured me that I could do this even when I wanted to quit. After having 5 babies and having a doula for the 6th my only regret was not having one everytime. I highly recommend her. I was surprised at how much of a difference it made having that extra support person.

Hi there, I'm Michelle! I'm based in Northern Indiana and serve parts of Michigan, and Ohio. I am a full-time certified birth doula and photographer! This work has always been my passion, from working in an Amish birthing center for several years to owning my own photography business and serving growing families for the last ten years. My desire has always been to serve families during these pivotal, life-changing moments. I have been present for over 350 births now, including at home, birth center, hospital, and unassisted. I
Michelle was my doula and photographer for my 2nd and 3rd pregnancy. She walked with me on my journey of leaving the hospital setting and ultimately into a homebirth by my delivery of the twins. She is passionate, understanding and knowledgeable about her fields. She has also done ALL our family photos since my oldest son was about 16 months old and I have never been disappointed. Sometimes (ok basically always) I walk in not even knowing what I want from the pictures but she always manages to have an amazing vision and product! We just love her so much!!

Nice to meet you! I’m Alyssa. I’m a boy mama x 2. After having two very different birth experiences, I’m passionate about supporting and educating parents leading up to birth and beyond. With a long induction + c-section birth and also a non-medicated VBAC under my belt, I feel well equipped to support all moms. I love to integrate a holistic approach to birth work, but I also appreciate modern medicine when truly needed. Every mom has their wants and needs when envisioning the birth that they desire, and I love helping them get from where they are to where they want to be. I value breastfeeding and postpartum wellness as well and love to help moms troubleshoot or problem solve when needed. The saying “it takes a village” holds a special place with me as I often feel pulled to be that village for fellow mamas. I strive to make other moms feel appreciated, supported, informed, and confident in their God-given abilities! I live in the Indianapolis area with my husband + our two boys. I love mom hangs, adventuring with my fam, being my kids biggest cheerleader + checking out new local food and coffee spots with my husband.
Alyssa was my doula for the birth of my 3rd child. I know that because of her, I had a beautiful, natural, physiological birth. I did not have a doula for the births of my first 2 children but after having her be such a vital part of my birth team, I wish I had invested in a doula for them. The birth of my 1st child was long and difficult, and I can confidently say that if Alyssa had been there, it would have been completely different. She is kind, incredibly generous, loves the Lord, and has a calming presence that makes her a perfect doula for someone like me. I have a lot of anxiety and do better when I have someone who is both gentle and firm. Alyssa became a part of my pregnancy journey around 18 weeks along. I was able to talk about my previous births, my indecision about where to give birth, and the difficulties I had experienced with secondary infertility. I had an initial consultation and 2 prenatal appointments with her in person where she was so attentive and wonderful about helping my husband and me to think through what I wanted my birthing time to look like. She was also available by phone and text, and I appreciated so much how often she checked in with me (and reminded me that I couldn't over communicate with her). A very big reason I decided to pursue a birthing center birth where I knew I wouldn't be able to have an epidural (I'm definitely not great with pain and had epidurals with my first 2) was because of her encouragement and also her suggestion to pursue using Hypnobabies. I was skeptical that Hypnobabies would work for me, but I'm so thankful I worked through and completed the course. Not only was the hypnosis vital to my 3rd's amazing birth, but the Hypnobabies materials reinforced what I already knew, as well as taught me new things that gave me confidence I was definitely lacking in previous births. Alyssa is such a wealth of information. I felt very safe going to her with my questions, concerns, and even my frustrations. She was fabulous at reminding me of God's sovereignty, His perfect timing, and that she was praying for me. During my actual birthing time, Alyssa was a strong, calming presence that involved herself when she needed to and also let me work through the different stages of labor. I was so thankful for her constant reminder to relax my face (the idea being that a relaxed face is a relaxed uterus), and how she kept me on target from one stage to the next. She helped me try different positions (one even included a nap) and got me setup to be able to enter the birthing tub just when I needed it most. I had a water birth, something I had always wanted to have! She kept me on course with my Hypnobabies tracks to keep my focus where it needed to be. I'm so thankful for everything Alyssa did for me during pregnancy, my birthing time, and also after birth and in the weeks following birth. She is a fantastic doula and an amazing person. I highly recommend her and am so happy to do so.

Hello, and thank you for visiting my page! My name is Ronae (pronounced like the more commonly spelled "Renee"), and I am a Certified Birth Doula and Certified Lactation Specialist located in Fort Wayne, IN. I have always been passionate about serving and encouraging other women. Through my own parenting journey over the years, I have developed an avid interest in all things birth and breastfeeding. I have been a certified Birth Doula since 2020 through ICEA and Global Birth Community and have been a Certified Lactation Specialist (CLS through LEC) since 2021. I have experience in supporting births in hospitals, in birth centers, and at home. I believe that women have a right to nonjudgmental encouragement and support throughout their birth story, whatever they choose and wherever it takes them. I feel it is especially important for birth workers to empower women to understand their options in pregnancy and birth so they are able to provide true informed consent, playing an active role in their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences.
We decided to have our fourth child late in life and hired Ronae as our doula, it was the best decision we made! Ronae was knowledgeable and a great resource planning our labor and delivery. Her guidance, reassurance, and attentive presence made the experience smoother and more empowering. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner through this pivotal moment in our lives.
