About me

I have worked as a baby nurse for over 25 years and I enjoy helping new parents make the transition into parenthood, by teaching them how to care for the new addition to their family. I have the knowledge and training needed to educate new parents on how to care for their newborn by teaching them how to feed, bath and put babies down for naptime. I can help parents organize the nursery to make things more convenient and easier to handle. I am highly trained to take care of twins or even triplets, so parents with multiple newborns are not so overwhelmed and stressed. Even parents who already have children at home can use the extra help, so they have time to take care of their other children.

I could not have asked for a better night nurse! Helen brings so many years of experience to the table and it shows in everything she does. She is so knowledgeable about everything baby and also about postpartum care for moms, breastfeeding, etc. She’s also highly experienced with sleep training and her nursing background gave me so much peace of mind when my toddler kept bringing home preschool germs and getting my newborn sick. I had a lot of trouble breastfeeding and she helped me through it so much and I now have a great breastfeeding relationship with my son thanks to her. She also has the most lovely demeanor. She is calm, supportive, and has a great sense of humor. She’s exactly who you want in your home when you are feeling your most vulnerable in those early postpartum/ newborn days.. My husband, baby, toddler, dog, and I miss her so much. I literally cried the day she left and my toddler still talks about her daily and asks when we can have another baby so she can come back. She is an absolute joy to have in your home and anyone would be lucky to work with her!

Helen is kind, professional, and extremely reliable and trustworthy! She helped wean our baby boy off of night feeds and got him back on track after a tough 4 month regression. I can’t recommend her enough and would never hesitate to suggest her name to anyone looking for help with their newborns and infants!
