My name is Ashke. I serve families in the Bloomington, Indiana area as a perinatal guide. Once I experienced breastfeeding my four children, I found that each breastfeeding journey was much different. I found that breastfeeding is not just about the benefits and nourishment for the baby, but the empowerment I felt made me more determined to help other moms achieve that same feeling. I received amazing support from other lactation colleagues and my fellow mom-to-mom community, which made me even more equipped to give moms peer and professional support rooted in evidence-based practice.
