Seeking help can feel intimidating and most think, “Do I really need to speak to a stranger about this problem?” Taking that first step though can help you to learn some strategies for a lifetime. Having been a social worker for over 25 years, my approach is an eclectic one. My practice includes working with people who have a history of perinatal issues, death/dying, DV, and substance use. I work with people from the ages of 4 through seniors.

Taking the first step in seeking help can feel intimidating but in counseling we work together to explore and develop some helpful coping skills. I am a social worker with over 25 years of experience in working with people who are seeking help for anxiety and depression during and after birthing. My practice includes working with individuals, couples, and family counseling. My approach is an eclectic one since I have worked in the perinatal field as well as with those who are experiencing grief and bereavement issues. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and play therapy.
