Hello Everyone! My name is Donna Moragne-Hanson and I am a licensed midwife in Los Angeles, CA. I provide well-woman, pre-conception, prenatal/postpartum care, doula care, childbirth education and lactation support from the privacy of my in-home birthing studio where you & your family will be provided with everything you need for a safe, comfortable and peaceful birth. You will also receive 24 Golden Hours of maternal postpartum & newborn postpartum care as you receive 3 homemade meals created to restore, center and balance your body before journeying home with your new babe. In addition I offer Closing of the Bones ceremonial care, yoni steams, herbal baths, as well as Postpartum Ala-carte services. For me, establishing trust with my client is the most important and fundamental and important. My practice is built on nurturing trust and learning to let go of the things we allow to interfere with trust. I want to encourage trusting in yourself; trusting in your body (and the natural process of giving birth); trusting in your baby (and their own divinely written birth story); trusting in humanity (and the world your baby is born into) and trusting in our partnership; as client and midwife. I believe, when a woman is heard, she is seen; when she is seen, she has a voice; and as her midwife I am compelled to encourage her to honor that voice; her voice. In this way I believe I am blessed with an opportunity to fulfill my role as supporter, facilitator, educator and client advocate; the ultimate calling of a midwife. For me, describing the process of birth is like trying to describe a miracle; and walking with a woman as she becomes a mother is even more profound…I am beyond words. Donna, LM, CPM

I offer preconception planning, prenatal/postpartum midwifery care, doula support, yoni steams, herbal baths & Closing of the Bones ceremony. I offer a 8 week childbirth education course, and am very committed to addressing any health, emotional, or spiritual issue affecting the health of the whole-woman. For your convenience Ala carte Postpartum Newborn Care, Ala carte Postpartum Maternal Care and Ala carte Postpartum Well-woman Care are available for those Clients wanting additional support, care and instruction.
