Hi! I’m Darlene! I am a postpartum doula & lactation counselor. I started Nurturing Mothers while keeping the needs of postpartum mothers in mind. A time where mama’s need to be supported & cared for, while caring for their babies. As a mother of 5, a grandmother to 4 and serving families as a nanny, I can resonate with all a mother endures during the postpartum transition. I have such a deep love for motherhood! So much that I want to serve mama’s to help them get off to a great start without feeling overwhelmed. Whether it be lactation support, rest from being up all night, support while still in the hospital, emotional support, help with running the daily household, grocery shopping, preparing meals or in need a good night’s rest with no worries. Each family is cared for by their particular needs. Each visit is tailored to the needs of that day.
