Anansa Lattimore whom we lovingly refer to as "Nzuri Asha" which means Beautiful Life in Swahili. Nzuri is a certified and continues to further her development as a doula. She has been working as a CMA for 10 years and focused in OBGYN for 6 years. During her OBGYN years, she has also received certification to co-facilitate Centering Pregnancy groups through the Centering Healthcare Institute and a certificate for completing the Strengthening Community Health Worker Programs from Harvard University. Her desire ultimately is to serve all women, but she is passionate about being able to serve the African American community and bring awareness to the care of African American women and teenagers who need and deserve during this special time in their lives, as well as empower those same women to use their voices and make more informed decisions about their healthcare.

My name is Rachel Campbell. I'm a 30-something wife and mama to two crazy kiddos and one dog. I have been immersed in the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum world since 2017 and had two amazing doula-attended births of my own. I decided to take the plunge into doula work in 2021. I completed my CAPPA training in November of 2021 and I'm working toward my official certification. I've seen firsthand what it's like to have long and difficult labors, challenging physical and/or emotional recoveries in the postpartum period, and just about every breastfeeding struggle in the book. It is my hope that the skills I've learned in finding good help and working to identify solutions that aid both Mama AND Baby in equal measure can help other families.

After a beautiful and empowering first birth, although it didn't go according to my original vision, a fire was lit to come alongside families in their own birth journeys. As a doula, I will support you whether you choose a home birth, a planned cesarean, or anything in between. My goal is that you know your options, are supported in them, and are surrounded by feelings of safety and love. I have worked in a variety of capacities before arriving in the birth world. I studied Exercise Science in college, where I learned the amazing things our bodies are capable of when we treat them properly or move them in certain ways. I've worked as an exercise physiologist in cardiac rehab, and as a wellness coach in a hospital setting. I was in full-time ministry, working with college students and teenagers. In that capacity, I learned to meet people where they're at, to comfort and to “hold space” for someone. These experiences brought me to a new understanding of wholeness - body, mind and spirit. This set me up perfectly to team up alongside women in their birth journeys - one of the most life-changing events we can experience!

Hi my name is Jessica! I live in Denver on our family farm with my husband and 2 kids. I’ve been passionate about pregnancy and childbirth since I can remember. I originally trained as a birth doula in 2011, gained some experience and then we started our own family. The doula lifestyle wasn’t something that worked for us while my babies were small. I took about 10 years off from birth work (besides doing births for family) until 2023 when I felt called back to birth work, and I re-trained and certified. I deeply enjoy getting to know my clients and assisting with getting them confident and ready for their birth. I hope to provide my clients with everything they need to make informed decisions that are right for them, feeling confident to advocate for themselves and bringing a calming presence into their birth space, whether that’s at home, at the birth center or a hospital.

Hi, I’m Julie. I’m so glad you’re here! My passion for birth and motherhood started at a young age. All I ever wanted to be was a mom. After I had my fifth baby I felt sad realizing that this part of my life was over. I soon discovered that my calling to serve mamas as a birth doula however was just beginning. My hubby has been there beside me through it all as our children have been born naturally in both hospital and home settings. I use that firsthand knowledge now to serve you with not just my rigorous training and certification through Birth Arts International, but also through my own personal experience. I was introduced to essential oils in 2014, and every day since then has been a family journey to more natural patterns of health and wellness. I have seen and experienced success time after time using the oils throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and with a newborn. I feel confident in my ability to protect my family’s health no matter what is going on around us, and that’s something I enjoy paying forward to other moms and families.

I am married to my best friend, Collin Francis and we just had the most perfect baby girl, Saylor Grace Francis, born at home on July 31st, 2022. Our hearts are so full! I became a doula because I am so passionate about everything pregnancy and birth but most importantly because I believe women and their families need such a strong support system during this season in their life. I worked in the hospital system for almost 4 years on several different units from ER to maternity, went to nursing school and got my LPN degree all to realize I wanted nothing more than to support women holistically. Six months later, we were pregnant with our son, Deuce!
