Safe, professional preparation of your placenta into capsules to gently support postpartum recovery. This service is not covered by insurance (private pay only). Results vary and benefits are based on traditional use, not FDA-evaluated.

Birth Doula Package
Includes: 2 prenatal visits, labor support and 2 postpartum visits.
These rates apply to private pay clients who are paying out of pocket. For Medicaid clients, there is no out-of-pocket cost for covered doula services. Coverage depends on your specific plan, so please book a consultation to review what is included under your insurance (NJ Medicaid, Horizon NJ Health, WellCare/Wellpoint, Aetna Better Health and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan).

Postpartum Doula Support
This package is designed to nurture the whole family during the early weeks at home. Care includes newborn care guidance, feeding support, emotional check-ins and help with family adjustment. I also provide light household assistance, like simple meal prep or tidying main spaces so you can focus on healing and bonding with your baby. Services require a minimum of 3 days per week, with shifts starting at 4 hours.

As an expecting mom, Colleen has been with me every step of the way. She is very attentive to my concerns and personalize my care to fit my needs. Being a high risk mom she goes above and beyond to make sure I am knowledgeable about my condition and helps me make informed decisions for my birth plan. Do you offer virtual support?
Yes, I provide virtual doula support, including prenatal visits, childbirth education, and postpartum check-ins, all available over Zoom for your convenience.
How far do you travel?
I proudly serve families in Essex County, NJ, Manhattan, and within a 50-mile radius.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I’m certified to provide services through NJ Medicaid, Horizon NJ Health, Fidelis Care. United Healthcare and Wellpoint. I’m also a Carrot-approved doula, which means if your employer offers Carrot benefits, you can use them to cover my services.
