I absolutely love Christine and her team! Couldn’t ask for a better midwife with everything I went through. I had a great birth experience with her at home in welcoming our baby safely into the world. Her services from pregnancy to birth and postpartum were 10/10 by far! I felt taken care of, heard and seen throughout everything as I struggled through pregnancy with extreme nausea and then breastfeeding after. Christine was so helpful, encouraging and kind. She’s the reason I was able to breastfeed in the end with all her extra help, appointments, time and encouragement. I could seriously go on and on about her. We’re bonded for life now❤️ I’d highly recommend her to anyone wanting to do a home birth!

I have known Christine, with Score’s Midwifery for over eight years, and she has been part of some of the most vulnerable, healing, and life-changing seasons of my life. My first pregnancy ended in an emergency C-section, and it left me terrified. After that experience, I was scared not only of being pregnant again, but of giving birth at all. I had always dreamed of experiencing a vaginal birth. I truly believe vaginal birth is one of the most powerful and beautiful things a woman can go through — even with the pain — and I was heartbroken thinking that option might not be possible for me. Around that same time, my oldest daughter was dealing with medical issues. Christine listened to my concerns and gently suggested natural supports we could try, and they truly helped. That was when I first realized how deeply she cares — not just about birth, but about families as a whole. When I became pregnant with my second child, my biggest fear was whether I could have a VBAC. From the very beginning, I knew I needed Christine’s support. She was still in school working toward her license then, but she walked with me as a doula and soon-to-be midwife. She answered every question, addressed every fear, and supported me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Even though I delivered at a local hospital, having her steady presence made all the difference. Six years later, I became pregnant with our third — our baby boy. I was older and scared, especially knowing my anemia had complicated every pregnancy. Christine was one of the very first people we told. Instead of feeding fear, she cheered us on. She helped me tailor my diet, found the right supplements to improve my hemoglobin (instead of just prescribing iron that never worked for me before), and constantly reassured me — while always keeping safety first. She made it clear she would never risk my life or my baby’s life. I dreamed of a home water birth. The day — or rather the night — it began, my husband was getting ready to go to work when I started feeling small, strange contractions. I texted Christine. My labor lasted about 17 hours total, all in the same day. When she first came to check on me, she reassured me and even suggested we leave the house for a bit to remove the “birth atmosphere” and get some rest. She constantly encouraged me to eat and rest between contractions so I would have the strength I needed. When active labor hit, everything happened fast. Within two hours, there was no turning back — baby was coming. Christine arrived before her team. It was just her. No extra hands yet. And she handled it with complete calm and confidence. My husband was hands-on, just like we wanted, one of the first to touch and help deliver our baby. My children were there. My mom was there. I had my dream water birth at home, surrounded by my family. After delivery, when things moved quickly and I began hemorrhaging, Christine stayed calm. She knew exactly what to do. She managed everything confidently and immediately. I would have panicked — but she didn’t. She protected me. She handled it swiftly and professionally, even without her full team present yet. For my daughters to witness that birth — to see strength, calm, and support surrounding a woman — meant everything to me. It was healing for me after my previous births, and it was empowering for them. As women, we deserve to be guided, loved, and nurtured. For them to see that firsthand was priceless. Christine is knowledgeable, steady, and incredibly skilled. But more than that, she treats you like family. She bonds with your children. She cares about your husband. She becomes part of your story. Three children later, she is part of our family. If you are looking for a midwife who is compassionate, experienced, supportive of VBACs and home births, and absolutely committed to safety — she is the one. I reached out to Christine as well as a few others midwives. It only took one visit for me to know that we’d be going with Christine as upon meeting her. I felt comfortable and as though I had known her forever. She came off as extremely knowledgeable about natural birth and was so passionate about pregnancy and healthy mamas and babies. We also had so much to talk about and relate to as we’re both passionate about natural birth; She was hired right then and there. I had also considered seeing an OBGYN simultaneously but it was going to take months for an appointment. During our initial meet, Christine offered to do tests to ensure I was healthy and found that I had an infection that could have affected my early pregnancy. I am so thankful for her looking out for us from day one and we never ended up going to an OB, because she offered a high level of care that an OB’s office could never be able to provide. Throughout my pregnancy she was incredibly thorough in conducting tests with labs, ultrasounds, education , vitamins and true care to ensure that we were healthy. Toward the end of my pregnancy, Christine and her team of assistants came to my home for a home visit and spent hours with my family, educating them on the benefits of home birth and ensuring that everyone was well informed and comfortable with the water birth that we planned to do; we all appreciated this so much and invited peace of mind for everyone. When I was past due, Christine monitored us very closely and when I went into labor, her and her team came to our home with tons of supplies, clearly ready to navigate any situation that might need to be remedied. I had an extremely difficult labor with back to back painful contractions and after 24 hours of broken waters and laboring at home it was decided by everyone involved that the best course was to finish at the hospital. Christine and her team were selfless, making sure that we made the best medical decisions to ensure that myself and my baby were safe. She came to the hospital and made sure to vouch for us and make a peaceful transition from the home birth environment to the hospital. Although we were disappointed to not be birthing at home, Christine and her team made sure that we did everything possible to have birthed at home safely before making the safe recommendation to transfer to the hospital. Christine and her team continued to check in with us during our stay as well as postpartum and we felt so loved and cared for. She also made sure to have given us a plethora of supplies that made postpartum a more enjoyable experience. We just recently had our last appointment with her at 6 weeks postpartum and we couldn’t be more grateful for the level of care received by Christine as she genuinely feels like family now! We can see how much she loves our son too when she holds him and does his exams… We love her and I know that we will always be in touch. We can’t wait for our next baby and to work with her again. If you are looking for an A+ midwife team, she is it! She cares SOOO much for her patients and we couldn’t have asked for a better team, truly… we are just so grateful and thankful. This was so valuable to me and gave me the confidence to try for a vaginal delivery. 3 weeks later I was able to have the vaginal birth I wanted because of the confidence I got from Christine. She’s very thorough regarding any potential health problems (like UTI or preeclampsia for example) and tries to take care of them before labor comes around. She’ll even provide supplements or teas. For my personal labor, my baby was tangled in the cord and his shoulders weren’t aligned and so he was stuck, and Christine acted so fast in untangling him and realigning his shoulders. My body then went into shock after birth and she was equipped with items to help prevent me from fainting. She and her team are swift and attentive with your needs. She’s very knowledgeable and experienced and fast thinking. I felt safe with her and her team. I can’t even write every single thing that I loved because it’s so much! But you will really get taken care of with Christine. She goes above and beyond in caring for you with things that she didn’t need to do.
