About me

There was a very pivotal moment in my own healing journey that allowed me to embrace the theme of “going your own way.” During this moment a deep inner wisdom turned on and a true embodiment of self returned home. Now as a birth Doula, my passion and dream is to create a loving environment – whether that be in a hospital or in your own home – that supports you to “birth your own way.” As a Doula, my role is to help you settle into the birthing experience, offer insights, remind you of your divine nature and innate intelligence, trust and support your decisions and to be a witness to you bringing your beautiful soul baby earth-side, as safely and as gentle as possible. I am available for in home customizable support, to provide the ultimate luxurious birthing experience of your dreams. Doulas strive to provide continuous labor support, and studies have shown that when a women has this continuous support there will be a higher rate of a normal vaginal birth, less likely to have pain medication, less negative feelings, and less Cesareans. Labors are also typically shorter and the baby will less likely to have complications at birth. The presence of a Doula can also be helpful in sharing the partner responsibility allowing them to be more at ease, more present to enjoy the wonder of birth I offer 18+ years of bodywork experience that can begin with massage sessions leading up to your due date. Massage in pregnancy has shown to create better sleep, decrease anxiety and depression, aid in fewer complications during labor and have an overall more positive experience during the first few weeks after birth. I feel comfortable in the ebb and flow and view the birthing process as both very physical and spiritual experience.
