I can't begin to say enough good things about Cari. From the moment we first began messaging, to our first meeting, all the way up to the amazing unmedicated birth of our second daughter. We are not strangers to an unmedicated birth, as that is what we did with our first daughter, but Cari helped make the experience with our second not only even better but much calmer and secure all around. Cari was informative in not just the potential outcomes of the birth we WANTED, but she made sure to take the time to cover what-if scenarios. What we were looking for in a Doula was someone who was willing to take the time to get to know us well before baby #2 was born, but also someone with a kind vibe/aura (IYKYK), who could advise us on some additional labor coping movements and massage/pressure points, and she did all of the above plus more. If we have another baby, she will undoubtedly be our Doula again. I genuinely recommend her on all levels. Even after our daughter was born, she stayed with us in the birth center for hours until I felt well and recovered enough for her to leave us (and this was past 1 am). She captured some absolutely precious, beautiful, and raw photos of our birth, on top of doing a newborn photoshoot for us. Themed and set where we wanted, yet again surpassing all expectations. She includes postpartum support as well, and she is so sweet when she came for her postpartum visit, she brought a batch of the most AMAZING lactation cookies ever (and might I say they sure worked for me!!). Cari will undoubtedly take the time to listen and form a plan that you want while informing you of all possibilities and taking care of you like a member of her own family, honestly. And who doesn't love a fellow nerd? Look no further. She IS the doula for you. THIS is the sign you're looking for.

From the moment I met Cari (night of my induction), she was by my side up until couple hours after our baby was born. That was a full 36 hours. My husband and I will forever be grateful for Cari and the unconditional support and care she provided me during my labor at Winnie Palmer. Majority of the reason why I enjoyed my birth experience was mainly because of Cari. I panicked a few days before my scheduled induction and wanted an extra support person and I found Cari through Doula Connect FL FB group. She was a god sent! She showed up with snacks, essential oils, music, room spray, she just came prepared for what she was meant to do on earth for expectant mothers and that providing emotional support, comfort and advocacy. She stayed overnight and kept checking in on me every so often. She saw my discomfort and rushed over to support me and assisted my husband on how to help me through the pain. I will never in my entire life forget Cari and the role she played during my birth story. God really sent an Angel to be by my side especially in such short notice. I would definitely recommend Cari to every expectant mother I know and I will utilize her services again if we ever do decide to have another. She is well educated, has a heart of gold, so motherly, so trustworthy and reliable.

Cari is a very sweet woman with a warm heart, who loves the birthing experience and is dedicated to her job. She stayed with me all the way through a long and difficult birth, and brought her expertise and birthing tools to help.
