I want to have an advocate/support doula for my new baby due in September of this year. I want to have a water Birth at home preferly. I have OHP insurance to cover cost of service.

Delivery scheduled at St Charles Birthing center. A c section is being planned. Budget has not been determined yet. Would love to meet with a postpartum doula to help with care for a c section and baby care. Lactation consultant for education on how to nurse.

I plan to give birth in a hospital, maybe one in corvallis. I'm looking for something that my insurance will be able to cover, which is IHN through OHP. I don't know what my birth plan is, I don't know how to set it up yet.

Im hoping for a home birth but will likely birth at Salem hospital. This is covered by insurance so there’s so budget. I have the EPO plan through Aetna. Aetna Open Access Aetna SelectSM and my plan renews on 7/1/15-6/30/26 I need to provide both a provider and a CPT code to see if my insurance covers Doula services. I would also like to understand Lactation and pelvic floor services covered by Aetna. At this point in time I am looking to give birth at OHSU since my regular provider at the SE PDX Adventist birthing center does not have a NICU. I really don't want to obtain services if they are not at least in part covered by insurance.

I will try to have an unmedicated birth and take advantage of water, birthing balls , moving around as much as possible.
