Hi mama! I'm a military wife and mama excited to serve women in Walterboro and the surrounding area while my husband is stationed in Beaufort! I'm currently working on my certification through BirthWorks International for my Birth Doula and Childbirth Education certifications and thoroughly enjoying geeking out over all the birth information! Whether you're seeking a hospital or home birth, if you want a planned c-section, epidural, or completely unmedicated physiological birth, I'm there to support you. My goal is simply to present you with the information you need to be empowered to participate in informed consent before labor ever begins, and then to encourage you listen to your instincts that your body was designed with when it does. You got this mama! Anna-Grace Ngoma

My goal with every mama is to make you feel confident in your God-given ability to birth your baby! That all starts before you go into labor though... Your mindset matters! So your preparation matters. I want to make sure we have as many tools in our belt as possible. the better prepared you feel the less stress you carry into your birth with you. My job is simply to support you, whatever that looks like. Even if you just need someone to talk through fears, get you more information, or help you meal-prep for postpartum. The role of a Doula is to make you feel safe to listen to your instincts. I believe the best way to do that is unique to every mama and birth. That can look like massage, offering food and water, suggesting a position change, counterpressure, or quiet encouragement. Within 6 weeks after your birth I like to do at least one meeting to check in with you and review your birth together!
My experience was good and very intense at times, and there was a few moments where I was scared that my wife wouldn’t get through it that God had his hand on her and the birth went very well
