Hello! My name is Allison McDonald, and I’m a professional postpartum doula with a passion for nurturing families during the tender weeks and months after birth. I am a certified childbirth educator, a certified massage therapist, and trained doula. Before stepping into postpartum work, I spent over ten years as a professional nanny, caring for primarily newborns, infants and, toddlers. I also have experience with overnight newborn care. My goal is to support families in whatever way they need. Whether that’s helping with newborn care, sibling integration, animal support, breastfeeding guidance, or giving mom time to rest, bond, or just breathe—I’m here for it. I also assist with light household tasks like meal prep, errands, laundry, light cleaning, and organizing to help make your home feel calmer and more manageable. I’m a compassionate, judgment-free presence—a listening ear when you need to talk, and an extra set of hands when you need a break. Wherever there’s a need, I’m honored to step in and support you.
