Matrescence::: Embracing your journey of Motherhood I guide women through the unknown and chaotic journey, called birth. I am a compassionate guide offering soothing wisdom and expert support. My specialty is being a safe space for mothers to heal from past birth trauma. I help mothers reclaim their power and embody confidence for the next birth. ensuring parents feel seen, supported and ready to thrive. After my first born, I immediately knew that my birth experience was something amazing, transformational and empowering. I just didnt have the words, but after my first doula training I could better put it in a much richer context and support other mothers, pre-conception through postpartum. Over the next years I shared my story and supported mothers in my community as a doula. Eventually working as a full time postpartum doula, I realized a major barrier was during the breastfeediing journey. I followed my passion in nurturing mothers into their new normal, with confidence, comfort and compassion while training to become a lactation lactation consultant. I am now an expert wombkeeper- Waterbirth & Postpartum Doula, Afterbirth Restorative Therapist, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) just to name a few. I find much pleasure and joy in nurturing new families as they discover, connect and create their family culture around the couplet. The cornerstone of my practice honors each mother’s unique journey of matrescence, the experience of becoming a mother. My resassuring, soothing wisdom and expert skills cultivate a visceral connection and safe space for new parents. I have traveled, trained and supported mothers internationally through pregnancy, labor/birth and breastfeeding. My signature, Afterbith Restorative Therapy Methods, support the new mother with restorative practices like belly binding, V-Steam, closing of the bones, as a time/space to reflect on their birth experiences. The Afterbirth Restorative Therapy Method not only provides a new mother with a greater sense of well-being; the new mother is better to care for herself and her new baby.

I am a doula who believes in compassionate and supportive care above all else. My approach is rooted in non-judgmental principles, ensuring that every birthing journey is respected as a unique and personal experience. You'll receive multiple prenatal sessions and a postpartum visit as part of my services. Thank you for considering me to be part of your journey!

We just had our first baby. It turned out to be a great choice to have Renee as our doula. We had two fruitful prenatal sessions to prepare a thorough birth plan and to practice various techniques for coping with contractions and pushing effectively. She was also very helpful through my whole laboring process. With her help, I managed to make sensible decisions about medical interventions and had a memorable laboring experience without regret.

I am certified by DONA International and have worked with many families using carrot benefits so I’m familiar with the process. Aside from being a birth and postpartum doula I am also a lactation and parent educator. I can provide guidance and help with breastfeeding, pumping, storing milk and if needed supplementing with formula. My approach is to meet each family needs, to offer the education and provide different options and let family decide what works best and go from there. There’s no right or wrong way to do things.

As a DONA certified Birth Doula, I am thrilled to be able to help families during one of the most exciting and beautiful moments in their lives-having a baby. I'm passionate about nutrition and natural remedies but as someone who is continuing their studies in the medical field, I am also very science oriented in my practice. I believe people should be able to have the birth they desire with the support they deserve.

My daughter had a great experience with her Doula Pauline Manning. By it being her first time giving birth she made her labor experience the best, she was very supportive, tentative , patient, hands on and gave her a lot of emotional support. Very soothing to her she gave her massages ,they walked together , She had my daughter do the ball exercise. Accommodated with whatever she needed. I highly recommend Ms. Manning she's the best . My name is Jalyn and I am a holistically trained full-spectrum doula, placenta encapsulation specialist, and Certified Lactation Education Specialist! My contribution to birth-work is an extension of my spiritual practice that creates a sacred and safe space for truth, radically honest storytelling, generational karmic clearing, sovereign decision making, incorporating forgotten herbal and ancestral practices, reinforcing the importance of community support, and my capacity to support parents in a way that encompasses their holistic wellbeing-- and that of course includes plenty of recalibration and restoration during such a major lifestyle transformation. My hands-on support is an intersection of evidence-based practices with individualized approaches to care. I inform families of ALL of their options before, during, and after pregnancy — advocating for and supporting them in WHATEVER decisions they feel suit them best! I currently support families choosing home birth, birth center or hospital. I am proudly born and raised in South Central Los Angeles and my journey has been inspired by the stories of beautiful Black families in my community, both tragic and revolutionary! Alongside having a background in spiritual and shamanic facilitation , I also have 1+ years of experience with child care/live-in full time nannying, light tutoring, family centered wellness. In my personal time I love to create art through various mediums of expression (painting, crochet, herbal medicine making), create short films documenting my journey of evolution, and uplift the vibration of the collective around me by sharing wisdom based upon my personal experiences as a 26 year old! I intend to give women and families a safe space to express and embody their truths-- no matter how raw or unconventional.

Hello! My name is Georgia and I am a trained postpartum doula servicing the Los Angeles region. I have been in the child development field for over 10 years, working as a Certified Child Life Specialist in children’s hospitals and in foster care agencies around the country. I specialize in working with families in high-stress situations, working with them to develop coping techniques and utilizing wellness strategies to promote a sense of peace in the home. As a postpartum doula, I assist in those delicate few weeks as baby is being integrated into the family: feeding support, sleep support, infant care support, and sibling support all included. Education is empowerment and I will always work to provide you with all of the resources at my disposal to ensure that you and your entire family feel equipped to make the decisions that feel right for your unique unit. As a specialist in child development, I also provide insight and education on how best to support the optimal cognitive, physical and emotional development of not only the newest member of the family but also older siblings who may have a hard time adjusting to a new baby in the home. I look forward to collaborating with you and providing you with the nurturing care you need to thrive in your postpartum months.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Georgia as our day doula during a challenging time. We hired her last minute after I had to stay in the hospital longer than expected due to postpartum complications, and she was a lifesaver from the start. She stepped in to support my husband at home with our newborn and continued to help us once I returned home, providing invaluable care for both our baby and my recovery. Georgia went above and beyond in every way imaginable. Her calming and kind presence was a godsend during what was a traumatic and overwhelming period. From picking up our favorite fruit and bringing coffee to helping with my first outing alone with the baby and managing my medications, she anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them. Her support extended beyond the practical—she helped us find our footing as new parents and brought us together as a family unit. Not only was she wonderful with our son, but she also provided the emotional and physical care we so desperately needed. We felt truly supported and cared for in every moment. Anyone who hires Georgia will be making one of the best decisions ever. She is a remarkable doula and an even more incredible human being. We cannot recommend her highly enough!
