Hello Everyone, I am Alexis Whitmore, a newly certified birth doula. My approach is rooted in holistic wellness, viewing childbirth as a profound and natural journey for the mind, body, and spirit. I am dedicated to empowering birthing individuals and their partners with the physical, emotional, and informational support they need to feel confident and respected throughout their pregnancy, labor, and delivery. By honoring each family's unique values and preferences, I aim to help create a positive and transformative birth experience, no matter where or how it unfolds. I believe in the body's innate wisdom to give birth and offer compassionate, non-judgmental guidance to help you find your strength and voice every step of the way.

Service introduction

I am a Certified Community health worker. I work with families throughout Cuyahoga County with resources in their community such as utility assistance, food pantries, clothing, ect. I form a strong bond with the individuals that I work with, sometimes seeing them at their lowest. I help individuals find the resources they need to often survive. It is an honor to be in this position, because I love helping others. I am also a newly certified Birth Doula. In this position I plan on forging bonds with families and supporting them through their birth journey. Being an advocate for the birthing person if and when the time comes. Also, the photographer when the precious package arrives.
