My name is Akeisha Cherry. I’m a wife and mother of five. My last pregnancy, I had the pleasure of having a Doula. Making this decision was one of the best decisions I have made for myself and family. To have the extra support, advocacy, education, a sister, made me realize that I have been that for other women for years just without the proper training. Receiving, doula training through Sista Midwife Productions and Mentorship with my birth sister Zana Washington with Zion Doula Services LLC confirmed my love for birth work and all that come with it. Medicated or unmedicated, Hospital or Home birth, I love being a doula, and fulfilling my life's purpose!
