We can’t recommend Amber enough as a doula. We had planned to labor at our home and then head to the hospital to give birth, but I had a precipitous labor, which we had no prior indication would occur—particularly given this is my first pregnancy. Amber was cool, calm, and collected for our as the birth turned into an unexpected home birth. She took charge with recommending that we call paramedics just in case and then provided guidance to the paramedics throughout the birth when they asked for help, as they hadn’t delivered a baby before. And throughout the birth, she provided reassurance and coaching to me, which was invaluable, as the whole birth was such a shock and a blur. If Amber hadn’t been there, we’re unsure what would have happened because, as first time parents, we had no idea things could progress as quickly as they did, and Amber was critical to identifying that the birth had turned emergent. We named our son Ezekiel, which means “God strengthens” because he gave me strength throughout the pregnancy and most notably through the birth. I 100% believe Amber is one of the ways in which God provided strength and that our meeting was by divine appointment. Amber is an absolute gem and exactly who you’d want in your corner!

I don’t know what I would’ve done without Mrs. Donna as my doula! She made my birthing experience perfect! We had some hiccups at the hospital with the doctor on call and my husband and I couldn’t stop saying “thank goodness we had Donna there”! I will recommend her to everyone I know having a baby. I LOVED working w Abby for my placenta encapsulation. To be honest I wasn’t sure if encapsulating my placenta was for me, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to do some research and move forward with encapsulating it just in case. And I’m SO happy I went in that direction. I didn’t take it until 10 days PP, (1) bc I just forgot lol (2) I wasn’t sure what to expect. When I reached out to Abby for reassurance that’s exactly what I received, data and genuine support. So I moved forward with taking it and I’m so grateful I did. I went from feeling somewhat numb (though I wasn’t fully aware of it), to feeling immense gratitude. Gratitude for my baby, for the support I was receiving and the present moment. It had a beautiful way of taking the edge off of the PP journey and keeping me present to what really mattered. With my 1st born I had severe PPD and PPA and I had none of that w my 2nd born and I attribute a lot of that to encapsulating my placenta. Abby was so amazing to work with. She was available to answer any of my questions before, during and after the process and went above and beyond to ensure it was an incredible experience. I 10/10 recommend placenta encapsulation and working with Abby to do it! She came recommended to me and I’m so grateful our paths aligned, thank you Little Lilacs and Abby!!

I used them in 2024 to do placenta Encapsulation and they were amazing! They were busy around the time I gave birth, but they communicated that with me and ended up picking up my placenta from my house. The encapsulated it pretty fast. And it made a huge difference in my recovery. This is my fifth time giving birth, but my first time using this process and I highly recommend anyone else to use it if you are thinkg about it!

We loved having Madison as our post partum doula. She was so kind, sweet and helpful in my first weeks as a brand new mom. I especially appreciated that on days when I didn’t know what tasks to give her, she would always find things to do to make my life easier. Always refilling different areas in my house with baby items, keeping bottles and laundry cleaned and even noticing that it was time to go through those newborn clothes and pull out the 0-3s and help reorganize the dresser. I contracted Little Lilacs’ birth doula service after my OB/GYN recommended them, and having Larissa Parker as our doula was one of the best decisions I made for my birth. From the very beginning, Larissa was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in understanding my goals and concerns. We had two in-person sessions with her that were essential in setting realistic expectations, creating a thoughtful birth plan, and preparing me for labor day. She also took the time to teach us how to use the TENS unit they provide, which became a valuable tool during labor. On the day of delivery, Larissa’s presence was absolutely fundamental to the success of my birth experience. My goal was to have the most natural birth possible, with minimal medical intervention, and Larissa was the key person who helped make that possible. She continuously supported me through contractions using hands-on techniques such as massage, guiding me into effective labor positions, and helping me stay calm and focused. Just as importantly, she provided clear, timely information that empowered me to make informed decisions in collaboration with the hospital team, which gave me confidence and peace of mind throughout the process. Larissa was not only a source of physical support, but also emotional and mental strength during one of the most intense moments of my life. I can honestly say that without her guidance and steady presence, I would likely have chosen an epidural, which was not part of my original plan. I am incredibly grateful for Larissa’s support and highly recommend her and Little Lilacs to anyone seeking a truly supported and empowering birth experience.

Little Lilacs was amazing. Especially my doula, Katie Woolums. This was my 2nd time giving birth and the first did not go so well, so I was very intent on doing everything possible to make this one go way better. Katie was instrumental in making that happen. She taught us stretches and positions to not only prepare for the birth but to make me more comfortable as I got bigger. I'm never one to admit when I'm in labor, but as soon as my husband called Katie, she was talking us through things and once things started progressing, she was with us. My babies always do their best work in the middle of the night and Katie was there the entire step of the way, and she was 20 weeks pregnant herself! I could've done it without her, but I am immensely grateful that I didn't have to.

Our doula, Katie W., was an awesome resource and source of information preparing for, during and after labor. The Best Decision I Made for My Birth Experience – Thank You, Larissa From the moment I first spoke with Larissa on the phone, I felt her energy, compassion, and confidence — and I knew she was the right doula for me. That feeling only deepened during our first in-person meeting. After she left, my husband turned to me and said, “There’s no doubt. You want her to be there.” He was absolutely right. Larissa supported me throughout my entire pregnancy journey and birth — not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. No question was too big or too small. Whether I was asking about research-based evidence or old wives' tales, she was always there with thoughtful, balanced answers, empowering me to make informed decisions every step of the way. She never imposed her opinion, only offered her unwavering support and made sure I felt confident and never pressured in my choices. That kind of advocacy is priceless. I went into labor early one morning with contractions about five minutes apart. I called Larissa and within an hour, she was already at our home. We headed to the hospital shortly after and I was admitted at 9.5cm dilated! Everything progressed quickly, and yet Larissa was the calm in the storm — grounded, prepared, and incredibly intuitive. When I was wheeled into the labor and delivery room, already 10cm dilated and in the middle of intense contractions, Larissa didn’t miss a beat. She made sure my birth preferences were clearly communicated to the nurses, advocating for me when I couldn’t. Her words gave me such a deep sense of peace. I knew I was in good hands — that my voice was being heard, even when I couldn't speak. Our baby was born after just under two hours of pushing — and surprise! — sunny side up. With no family nearby to support us, she became our rock — not only for me, but for my husband and toddler as well. Donna was my doula, she is extremely knowledgeable in her 16 years working as a labor nurse and now Doula. A Long Overdue Thank You to Carolann Rosso at Little Lilacs It has taken me some time to sit down and write this review—not for lack of gratitude, but because life with a new baby has been wonderfully busy. That said, Carolann Rosso deserves all the recognition and more for the incredible support she gave me as my birth doula during the birth of my first child in 2023. From the very first prenatal visit, Carolann brought a calm, knowledgeable, and truly caring presence into our lives. When the big day finally arrived, she met my husband and me at our birthing center of choice in McKinney—in the middle of the night, no less. I had a long, 21-hour labor, and Carolann stayed with us at the center for a solid 15 hours. Her support never wavered. She was there in all the ways I needed—many of which I didn’t even realize I needed at the time. She helped me stay active throughout labor, applied counter pressure when contractions were intense, used a TENS machine to provide relief, and offered continuous physical and emotional support that made all the difference. What speaks volumes to Carolann's dedication is that she stayed with me through delivery, even though it happened to fall on one of her own child’s birthdays. I encouraged her to go after I delivered, but the fact that she chose to stay until that moment meant the world to me. I simply cannot recommend Carolann enough. From our prenatal meetings through labor and delivery, she was everything we needed and more. Thank you, Carolann, for helping us bring our baby into the world with such care and strength. You will always have a special place in our hearts.

Vanessa is incredible at what she does. We used her as a night nurse for several months. She’s so good that we were actually kinda sad that our son started sleeping through the night, because we don’t get to see Vanessa anymore. 😂 Our son took to her immediately. Babies have a knack for good vibes and he and Vanessa definitely vibed. It especially made me happy that Vanessa was always so excited to see him. You can tell how much she cares for these kids. We’re looking for any excuse to get her back in the loop. Let’s have a sleep regression! We can’t wait for our next baby to get to know Vanessa just as well as this one does.

If you are on the fence about hiring a doula, hire Courtney. If you are expecting and haven't given a doula any thought, still go ahead and hire Courtney. She was absolutely invaluable throughout pregnancy/postpartum and especially during labor and delivery. We had two prenatal visits to go over our birth plan/labor positions/etc, she was there throughout my 40+ hour labor, visited postpartum and was always available to call/text with any questions. With a background in pelvic health, I did what I could to help prepare for delivery but things don't always go as planned. Courtney helped ease our minds and helped navigate changes as they came. She provided unbiased guidance so we could make informed decisions during the whole process. Courtney is an absolute blessing from God and we are very thankful to share the intimate memories of the birth of our first son with her. I highly recommend Courtney as your doula for your next birth.

I didn’t think I needed a doula because I was having a scheduled c section. But when I started having complications in the last few weeks, a family member suggested a doula. Courtney was a great fit for my family, supported all my choices eventhough they weren’t “all natural”. She gave me the support I needed in the last few weeks before delivery when I was too sick to prepare on my own. She listened and gave information and advice that was new to me eventhough I am an experienced mom. Courtney was with us in the last trimester, birth and postpartum and I honestly feel like I could not have done any of it without her! Katie Woolums was my doula and without a doubt was the best decision I ever made as a part of my labor journey. It started with a google video call meet where I interviewed Katie and she was so bubbly and had this amazing smiling aura! Right off the bat I knew she was going to be my doula. She was always available on text or call as needed. We had 2 prenatal visits where she explained the birthing process and gave tons of positions to help with pain management. She was punctual and answered all my questions! During labor, she was available, checking in periodically when I was at home and was available for me at the hospital when I told her I needed her. I was able to achieve exactly what my birth plan said no epidural and all natural and couldn’t have done it without her. She motivated me, literally at times let me lay in her arms at the peak of the contraction. Before I hit active labor, there was a phase where my contractions weren’t rhythmic and she gave me the best advise to take warm relaxing bath in the tub which was exactly what I needed and minutes after my mucus plug was out! Katie is knowledgeable, empathetic, sweet and exactly who you need on your birthing team! Thank you Katie for helping me meet my goal 😊

Just so incredibly thankful I had Allisa as my Doula. Allisa was so knowledgeable, supportive, and empowering during my pregnancy and birth. While I know it doesn’t happen for everyone, I was able to have the birth experience I envisioned and I credit much to that because of Allisa and her support. I wasn’t sure at the very beginning what type of birth experience I wanted, mostly because I wasn’t as knowledgeable. In talking to Allisa, she was able to better educate me and provide resources to help me make my decision to have an unmedicated birth. Allisa throughout my pregnancy was someone I could easily reach out to for simple questions and get input on. When it came to my birth, things were not progressing as far along and it seemingly looked as though I would require an induction. Before my induction Allisa was actively supporting me to try and induce labor naturally and I was able to do so. Anything she recommended to me I did and found it all very successful! During labor, Allisa was able to help my husband and I instantly get comfortable and she was absolutely the best support person during labor. As this being my first experience with a Doula, she did more than I ever thought. While I was lucky to have the labor experience of my dreams, I believe Allisa was a true blessing to help me reach my goals. If you’re hesitant about a Doula, I would highly recommend Allisa regardless of the birth experience you plan to have. My doctor was so impressed, she even wanted to know more about the Doula services. Through Allisa I was also introduced to Carolann who was a back-up and very professional! I was able to have Carolann support me by scheduling an induction massage and it was amazing!

We are super grateful to have had Katie W. as our doula! I contacted her really early in my pregnancy so I was able to get many of my questions answered throughout my pregnancy (normal symptoms, chiropractor recommendations, etc.). My labor started pretty abruptly and Katie was able to get to the hospital right away. My husband doesn’t really have the touch so she was able to guide him or even step in with support during contractions. My husband initially didn’t understand the need for a doula but after birth, even he said he couldn’t have imagined the birth without her!

This was our first pregnancy, and we knew we wanted an unmedicated, no-interventions approach to the labor and delivery process. Having Allisa as our doula was AMAZING! I could not have delivered my baby boy without her by my side. She was so informative and gave me all the tools to prepare my birth plan. From the moment we hired her I knew I was going to be able to make the choices for my body, and so I did. Although I had to be induced two weeks before, Allisa was so encouraging and made me feel like I was still going to be able to accomplish and follow my birth plan. I found my natural labor to be incredibly challenging, and I don’t think I was emotionally prepared for the birth. I truly believe that I would not have gotten through my labored naturally if it weren’t for Allisa’s help. Also, when I wanted an epidural, she talked me out of it, which is exactly what my wishes were. If I had given in to getting an epidural, I think I would have had some regrets. Allisa was an invaluable asset to my birthing team, I would hire her in a heartbeat! Having her felt like having a friend, I sure will be using her for my next babies.

Vanessa has walked with my through pregnancy and birth of both of my daughters. Besides being a beautiful soul and support, she did so much to help me have the birth that I wanted. It was important to me to have an unmedicated birth as much as possible and I was able to achieve that with her help. Vanessa provided non-medicated interventions like a comb, tens unit, and essential oils in addition to position changes, counter pressure, encouraging words and praying over me throughout the birth. She worked seamlessly with the medical team in the hospital to care for me, clean away any dirty linens etc., and calmed me to keep my blood pressure stable. She coached and supported me through decisions leading up to and during the induction, and gave me the tough facts when I needed to hear them. Vanessa was also supportive of my mother and husband who were there, coaching them on how to support me before, during and after labor. My husband doesn’t do well with blood and she even provided guidance for when he might do best to step away. She helped me with the initial nursing of my baby and when she had to be taken away for observation, Vanessa stayed with me while my family went with the baby. She reassured me and made sure I understood everything happening throughout the entire labor and delivery. I am so grateful for her calming and supportive presence throughout my pregnancy and birth and cannot imagine the journey without her.

During my second pregnancy, I was determined to have a VBAC after my first delivery ended in a c-section. Vanessa Delgado taught me everything I know about babies and kids with the arrival of my first born (she joined the party 2 months in when I realized it didn't all 'just come naturally'). I cannot recommend Katie Woolums with Little Lilacs Birth Services enough! I am a young mom and had my first baby this November. I had done a lot of research, but felt it would be helpful to have a doula and this was by far the best investment and decision that my husband and I made for our birth. Katie was such a calming presence. She came to our place twice prior to the birth to work on labor positioning and answer all of my questions. She provided several articles, links, videos, and her own perspective. She was responsive to all my texts before the birth and even after when I was struggling with breastfeeding. On the day of the birth, she was there with us for 15+ hours and helped us through so many unplanned events - i.e. an infection, shoulder dystocia, and our baby swallowing meconium and ending up in the NICU. She cried with me and supported me when I wasn’t able to have skin to skin with my baby girl and explained everything to me as things were happening. She reassured me and my husband the entire time, counted me through contractions, and was beyond incredible. She’s an amazing person inside and out - forever grateful that she was a part of our birth experience. If you’re thinking about hiring a doula - DO IT! And have Katie be there with you, you will never regret it! I could not say enough good things about her and the incredible experience she gave us.

I can not speak highly enough about Jessica at Little Lilacs. She was amazing from the start with her level of communication and walking myself and my husband through my pregnancy journey and what to expect (since I was a FTM). At our first meeting she was totally informative and remained in constant contact throughout my pregnancy and also help answer any questions I had via text or phone call (especially when I was laboring at home). Our first prenatal appointment I had a list of questions and she helped me alleviate any concerns I had as well as deliver my birthing plan at the hospital. When delivery time came she was there to help coach me through my delivery process (which was a breeze) thanks to our communication over my pregnancy and at our prenatal appointment. She also came to my house for my followup postpartum appointment to make sure I and baby were doing well and to help me with my belly binding. If you are on the fence about hiring a doula - (esp. I reached out to Lilacs after my mom had an accident and was unable to support me after the birth of my second baby. The experience was positively life changing and my only regret was not reaching out to them sooner. I worked with Carolann Rosso for day support and Lily Hill for night support. Lily saved my life after my baby had a terrible sleep regression and started waking every hour at two months old. It is hard to trust anyone with your little baby so soon, but Lily took the time to listen to my needs, answered all my questions, and helped me feel totally comfortable throughout the process. She would arrive at 10PM and literally handle everything until 6AM the following morning while I got much needed sweet sleep! I started to feel like a human being again thanks to Lily. Additionally, she had a magic touch with my baby and he started sleeping so much better after she started helping us. Carolann helped out with just about everything including baby care, meals, and laundry. Most importantly she took care of me and I was able to start feeling more like myself after the postpartum fog. I will be forever grateful for the help and company she provided during such a vulnerable period in my life.

Great resources, I was a FTM to be and their services greatly helped my pregnancy journey. I think they did everything in their power to make the journey tailored to my needs. Would definitely go with them again!

As a first time mom, I can’t imagine going through pregnancy and birth without our doula, Carolann. She was great about helping me to define my birth preferences, as I didn’t even know where to start, and she was very committed to ensuring my birth was as close to what I wanted as possible. She was very responsive any time I had questions or concerns during pregnancy, and she was so valuable during my labor. My husband and I have talked so many times since I gave birth about how much more comfortable we felt with Carolann there with us. She was so involved, explained everything to us as we went, provided us with options and information, and assisted the nurses, which they seemed to really appreciate as well. As an extra bonus, I have two large dogs, and she was really great with them, which isn’t always easy for visitors in my house. I can’t recommend Carolann highly enough!

We so enjoyed having Carolann as my doula! She was super supportive throughout my pregnancy, always being available via text or call. On the day of my delivery she was also on standby and came as soon as I said “I am ready for you to be here”. I attribute my successful and fairly quick labor/pushing to her expertise with different positions. She helped me reposition every 30 minutes and when it was time to push, baby was here in no time! She ensured that my needs and wants were heard and honored. She is exactly what I was wanting in a doula and more. We can not thank her enough for her involvement and care throughout my pregnancy.

Carolann is absolutely amazing! She prepared me so thoroughly for the birth of my first child that I was able to birth her myself even before she and my midwife were able to get over to my house! In all seriousness, I cannot recommend Carolann enough. After the birth, she stayed for several hours and made sure I had everything I needed (including going out to purchase an electric breast pump). She also is readily available to answer any question I had. She's the best!

Carolann Rosso was the doula for the birth of our daughter and I can't say enough positive things! She was knowledgeable, helpful, calm, and encouraging throughout a very long labor and delivery that didn't go as we had hoped. Just another 5 star review for Katie Woolums!!! She is a rockstar. Katie was a late add to our birthing team due to some forecasted labor complications (group b strep protocols, suspected shoulder dystocia). From the minute we were connected with Katie, she was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and comforting. She provided me with resources and recommendations that I am positive changed the course of my induction experience. Katie is caring, friendly, and understanding while maintaining the utmost professionalism. The event that stood out to me the most in my interactions with Katie was when she stayed by my side immediately after delivery and explained everything that the doctor, nurses, and NICU providers were doing for my son after his shoulders were stuck and his cord was wrapped. This would have otherwise been an extremely stressful and traumatic event, but Katie gently explained everything until we heard his first cries. Overall, Katie is an all-around lovely person and my only regret is that we didn’t reach out and get connected with her earlier in my pregnancy!!!!

Vanessa was my post partum doula. We absolutely loved her! She is a real angel on earth. Always positive and compassionate and ready to jump in. I was post partum with a 2 month old and trying to find genuine connection time for my 22 month old toddler during her winter break from daycare. Vanessa easily took over with the baby, let me relax, and would seamlessly transition to give my toddler comfort and attention. She really saved our family’s lives. We cannot recommend her enough!

Demi started as a stranger and ended up as family. We hired her as our doula and immediately hit it off. I would describe her as my pregnancy/delivery/post-partum tour guide. She was personable, funny, down to earth and knowledgeable. Demi knew the right questions to ask a first-time, clueless mom. She met with us beforehand and helped us prepare for delivery. At the hospital she was an amazing resource and my most important ally in my most vulnerable time. She knew when and how to be present— an encouraging word, a gentle hand on my body during a difficult contraction, a shoulder to cry on. She knew when to fade to the background of the room and would show up right when needed without me having to say a word. I’m not sure I could have reached my delivery goals without her. Hands down the best money we spent on my pregnancy. Words can’t express my gratitude to her role in the arrival of our little girl.

Mary was my postpartum doula for 2 months. This is my second baby so I had different requirements and needs but she managed to meet them all. Mary is a caring and loving person and I feel comfortable leaving my baby with her during these hours. Like other person said, she is very flexible when it comes to scheduling. I highly recommend Mary if you want to hire a postpartum doula.

In fact, we worked with several of the doulas from the group, and all of them were amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for postpartum support.
